My interest for this book just seems to have fizzled out. In this instance it is completely on me. From what I've read so far it has a good plot, great characters. Although I always find it hard when it comes to romantic suspense that the Hero has no military/enforcement background.

I might come back to it at some point.

This book is definitely a gem. I don't care for Country music either, but still loved it. There really wasn't any "twang" in it anyway, lol.

It's a Rom Susp that had a great murder mystery where everyone that the hero was close to was being killed off. I guessed early on who the twisted psycho was, but still enjoyed the plot.

Sweet love story of Butch, a famous country musician, whose mellow, kind & gorgeous, and Kate, the pretty, clever but tough as nails heroine, that's

Lost in Tennessee quickly became one of my favorite books of all time. I was about 30% in it, and I already knew this was a 10 Star novel, and it never failed me.

The story drew from the first page, while the last one had me begging for more.

It’s also the debut of the author, which only elevates my amazement. The author has endless talent, and I am looking forward to reading more from her, and needless to say, more books in this series.

Lost in Tennessee has exceptional characters, amusing as hell

Lost in Tennessee starts out with all the country charm of Sweet Home Alabama, then quickly turns into a mystery. One, that if it's not solved quickly, could mean big trouble for Kate Riley because she has become completely enamored with Butch McCormick and he's the one constant in everything taking place around them.

Kate, an architect from Michigan, is in Tennessee working on a project when she gets lost. She stops to ask for direc

Lost in Tennessee is one of the best books I have read this year. The flow of the book was terrific and the characters were fantastic. The humor was fantatic and I was in stiches , the plot was awesome, and the storyline was phenomenal. This is a story about Kate and Butch and it follows them but there is sub stories as well. Kate gets lots and runs into Butch McCormick who tries to help but he gets her lost again. He offers her a place to stay and the one night turns into many nights when Kate

I really enjoyed this book. The sparks flew between Kate and Butch and their interactions were filled with witty banter. Kate has an adorable cousin Tom and Butch has a protective older brother, Jeb, with an intriguing story of his own which I can't wait to read. Kate and Tom are hilarious when they are together and I found myself laughing out loud at their antics.
Even though the pace of the story was good it was fairly obvious early on who the murderer was and I was just waiting for the rest of
I’m not too sure how to rate this, frankly, because this feel like a book that tries ambitiously to skirt all the categories of the romance genre - smalltown, music, romantic suspense and so on...and ends up only a little of each at best. Many times, I wasn’t clear where the story was going, as the seemingly superfluous details of the characters’ daily lives dispersed the intensity of the suspense; neither could I connect with the characters whose behaviours were over the top at times (but sold ...more

Hands down, this is one of the most wonderful and well written books I have read this year so far. Truly. The reader becomes involved in the story from the beginning and it is hard to stop reading the story, for say, eating, sleeping, and a silly thing called work. Emotional and funny as all get out, this is a must-read story.

Absolutely loved this book. Butch was gorgeous, Kate is feisty and hilarious. Their chemistry was off the charts, throw in Jeb, Tom, a murder mystery and some hot sex and you pretty much get a perfect book. Top fave for 2015. Anita's writing was poetic, poignant and so funny!

Are you sure that this is a debut novel?? Holy Smokes!! Anita DeVito has found her career with this debut! I can not wait for more from her and to see how her writing evolves over her career. This is an amazing beginning for her! Definitely a debut in a league all it's own. Brilliantly written and very well thought out!!

When I first saw the blurb for this series starter and debut release from author Anita DeVito, all I remember thinking was "Ooh! A country singer in a romantic suspense thriller tale... Veeerrry interesting." And then I started reading Lost in Tennessee and was swept away by the quirky combination of a cast off-the-wall characters who were hilariously intense

Kate might not have believed it at the time, but getting lost was probably the best thing that’s happened to her – as long as she survives a madman’s killing spree.

Lost in Tennessee is an intriguing, involved love story with a lot of suspense tossed in. I won’t say that you will not pick out the bad person until the end, because some folks are really good at solving mysteries – but you’ll be guessing, and second guessing your suspects along the way to the revea

This book is billed as a mystery, but the only real "mystery" is what takes everyone so stinking long to solve it.

So there is Butch, a successful country music star, back home, communing with his roots as he prepares for a tour. He's also retreating from the fallout of his third - count 'em, THIRD - divorce. As he's trying to set up a sign for his grandparents' home (where Butch lives), Kate stumbles upon him. She's lost, with a dead cell phone battery, and no GPS. He gives her directio

I have to say that this group of characters has got to be one of my favorites of all time. Butch is your typical sexy country boy – tall, good-looking, and full of good ol’ boy charm. Kate is a fish out of water. She’s a strong woman in a man’s world, plus she grew up in a guy’s household with a dad who wanted a son. She’s not all that comfortable with her attractiveness but that’s where Butch shines. He sees the beauty inside and helps Kate see it too. Then there is Butch’s brother, Jeb, who is ...more

Lost in Tennessee follows the story of Kate and Butch. When already having a bad day, getting lost on top of it did not help matters any for Kate. Luckily she stumbles upon Butch McCormick, who tries to help yet but only leaves her lost again. Butch offers Kate a place to stay for the night when she ends up back at his house, this time with a flat tire on top of it all. But what started as one night turned to many more when Butch

This was one novel I am glad I opened up because I enjoyed it immensely. The characters were ones that were so filled with passion and heart that you could not help but fall in love with them and watch as they fell in love.It also has enough suspense that it raced your blood and had you being the nest Sherlock trying to beat them to it so you could help them out. When Kate gets lost but in doing so ends up lending a hand in fixing because working with her hands is one thing she can do. She also ...more

Butch McCormick is back home. He needs a break from the craziness of his life. He loves being with his family and slowing down. What he doesn't realize is it's the calm before the storm. When Kate Riley arrives, passion and danger do it. Can he win her heart and make her his? Butch and Katie are amazing characters. They are likeable and intriguing. He's a talented country superstar and she's a woman working in a demanding, physical job. They are complete opposites, but they can't deny their attr ...more

The book is about Butch (a country singer) and Kate (an architect) who both have their personal problems with love but are starting to fall for each other.
In the meantime some dead bodies are found which seem to be connected to Butch...

I don't exactly know how to describe this. I really liked the story but I somehow didn't get that deep connected with Kate and Butch. They were both great characters but... I can't explain.
Nevertheless I liked the book. I could follow the storyline easily and it w

I. Love. This. Book. It has everything I like in a story - great writing, great characters, and a hot romance. I feel like I really got to know all of the characters. Butch is a sweetheart and Kate is a strong, well-adjusted woman who isn't afraid to follow her heart. I also loved Tom and Jeb and sincerely hope they get their own books some day. Lost in Tennessee is a great premise, a country star who's essentially living the songs he sings, trying to get life back on track, and who shouldn't be interested in falling in love...again.

A hopelessly lost woman showing up at his home during his regrouping efforts sparks his interest and regardless of what he should be doing, he's going to fall in love with her. But is it so wrong if Kate feels the chemistry too?

I enjoyed the budding romance, although it did happen quickly. The mystery aspec

I absolutely LOVED this book. Everything about it. It was a sweet and sexy love story about two lost people finding each other. It was also a mystery that I couldn't wait to figure out. I loved Butch who had come home to rediscover who he was outside of his music career. I also adored Katie who struggled to find her place in her male dominated world. Tough one to rate! I loved the story. Butch and Kate were great characters as were all the secondary characters. I enjoyed the attraction between Butch and Kate and their developing relationship. The twists and turns of the storyline were excellent. I did think though that it was terribly drawn out. Midway through the book I could tell you who dunnit! I would have liked a little more drama and suspense when the guilty party is discovered and captured. With all that said, I did enjoy it and would ...more
