I hadn't ever heard of Elizabeth Murray before reading my friend's copy of this book, but I'm glad I was able to check her out! I always find abstract paintings hard to really experience in book form (much more engaging for me in person), but the photography of her paintings and drawings is well done and I really liked the artists annotations for each piece. The introductory essays and especially the lengthy interview with Murray at the end of the book helped bring the work into focus. A good one to happily revisit in the future.
