Great book on how to raise children unto the Lord. As a parent of 3 children (we adopted all 3 in 1 year) it has been shocking how unprepared I was even though I was preparing for 12 years. I think his ideas and use of scripture are well worth any parents time to read. I have gained more love and understanding and have become a better parent....he does mention that there is only one perfect parent and we should look to Him and His Son as our guide.

This book was really, really good. It gives you many good points and alot to think about. I really enjoyed how the writer tied many LDS prophets and LDS doctrine into the chapters and situations.

It has given me alot to think about concerning me being a father. It has also given me a bunch of ideas on how to address some specific problems.

Outstanding read.

LOVED! It has changed my parenting techniques in many ways. I still mess up at times but this book has really helped me deal with some tough issues. I will keep this by my bed and read portions of it again often.

This is great for the basics and applies gospel principles in appropriate ways. It is great for the little ones and also for teens.

I really like this author. He wrote the sacred union, which I think every married couple should read. It is one of those books that I should read every year!
