The authors recommend two different courses be made out of this books, and I followed the path of the easier course by reading the first 7 chapters. They were pretty good at explaining concepts that build the foundations of algorithms in python. The samples of code were very helpful and don't assume you remember the previous chapter which help me a lot since I read this over the course of three months.
