During a routine argument with his deceased best friend’s sister, firefighter Mick Malone accidentally ingests dragon scales and Tessa suddenly finds herself handling something much hotter that long-simmering sexual tension in this mesmerizingly fun and exciting paranormal romance.

Tessa has been in love with Mick Malone since she was ten years old and fighting with him is the only thing keeping her from an embarrassing romantic confession and Mick certainly hides his feelings from her

I love this series. Cassidy is magic at bringing abundant and genuine love and warmth into her books, it almost feels like it fills up the room when I'm reading them. The romance between the couples is always nice, she writes great characters that are funny, real and likable, and of course I want them to overcome whatever their problem is and get their HEA. Tessa and Mick were enjoyable, though they didn't get as much time as characters in one of her other series might because this book was ...more

Dakota Cassidy is one of the authors I tend to grab the newest book for as soon as it comes out. Her books are always a wonderful mix of sweet, sexy, and seriously funny. THE ACCIDENTAL DRAGON is full of fun sexy paranormal hijinks and a breeze to read through. I tend to finish the Accidentals series in one sitting in part because of the excellent comic timing, weird situations, and quirky characters but also because I tend to have a hard time pulling
The characters are really what makes these books, and I went back and upped my star rating on this series because of several reasons:

- I still look forward to seeing what the "old" gang are up to. Marty, Nina, and Wanda were sort of an odd trio at the start (Nina my forever favorite) and now they've all had their HEA endings, but they aren't finished by a long-shot. They go around helping other people who end up in predicaments similar to their own accidental intro to the paranormal. It's nice

Tessa was annoying and I wanted to ring-her-neck but later through the book, she grew on me. But the book itself was amazingly funny and great

Two friends discover there’s more to the world and their relationship than they ever dreamed possible.

This is a strange book. It is supposed to be funny, but I didn’t find much that was amusing to me in its pages. It’s supposed to be steamy, and I

Oh this was a fine read. It can be read as a stand alone - although you would, perhaps, get more out of the experience if you had at least met some of the characters in previous books!

So this was book 9 of this series - and who knew there were so many ways to accidentally become paranormal. Ms Cassidy, does a great job delivering the craziness of this particular episode with her usual sass and style. No spoilers here, but the two main characters in this tale, have to overcome some paranormal

Things just get weirder and weirder with the girls oops team. Amazing series that I will be very sad to finish.

Super funny...loved this adventure! I have thoroughly enjoyed this book series. I laugh out loud while reading them. Love all of the characters... but I think Nina will always be my favorite!

"We are chaos times eleventy billion.... she won't lack for some crazy, effed-up love."
Rating: 3.5

This series is a fun urban fantasy series where each book centers on someone who accidentally becomes a paranormal being. I've only read one other (the one with the genie) and I remember enjoying it so I picked this one up. The story itself is pretty stupid. A guy becomes a dragon without knowing why and his love interest conveniently does to. These two characters started out as annoying me with their constant childish fighting. I was worried it was going to be like that through most

I can't get enough of the Accidentally series by Dakota Cassidy. The women in these books are just downright awesome.

18693758If you can't guess from the title in this installment we are faced with an accident that leads us to a dragon. But not just one Dragon we get two for the price of one. And the mystery as to how it happened and what the big bad guy was after and who the big bad guy is was satisfying even though I scratched my head a little bit at the first reveal and then read more than
This series is not for me. Barely into this book i realized i wpould not be able to stand it as the characters are just trying too hard to be cute, or possibly funny, I couldn't say for sure. Fortunately i picked it up at the library so it was no loss. The only other book I have read by this author was the first in this series and I didn't like it either. Now I am forewarned.

Another great story in the Accidentals series. I accidentally (heh) read out of order because I couldn't remember what number I was on while at the library. I'll go back and get the right one this time. But I still love this series and Cassidy for writing it <3.

Fun read

It’s always fun to read Dakota Cassidy. There will always be a happy ending and the laughs along the way are why I continue reading her! Love the humor and romance!
2.5 stars =Okay. I have read at least one earlier book so was familiar with the paranormal trio helping the two accidental dragons to get their wings under them. Still it was rough getting used to the tough potty mouthed Nina all over again.

The Accidental Dragon is the 9th installment of Dakota Cassidy’s “Accidental” series. I have honestly skipped several just having not been overly interested in the story, but since this had to do with dragons I picked it up.
The Accidental Dragon is an entertaining and quick read. Tessa and Mick are childhood friends who have been in love with each other since they were kids, but have been hiding it their whole lives. As a result of the unrequited tension, they argue and fight which leads to

This is #9 in the Accidentally Paranormal series and, being me, the first I have read.
Mick was Tessa's brother Noah's best friend, and the 3 practically grew up together. Mick and Tessa always had a teasing kind of relationship. You know, pulling pigtails, messing with boyfriends, being a sexist jerk (or just like a brother's actions over the years). Now, 3 years after Noah's death, the relationship is more contentious, with Mick

A vampire, a werewolf, and a half vampire-half werewolf walk into an antique store…

Nina, Wanda, and Marty are out for a small ski vacation in Vermont. If you’ve read any of the other Accidentally Paranormal books, you know this can only mean trouble. Mick is in the antique shop to warn his best friend’s sister off her current boyfriend, which of course leads to yet another argument between Mick and Tessa. This is their worst one yet, as Mick ends up lighting Tessa’s shop on fire. Apparently, he’

Oh man!! It has been a wild ride over the last nine books, but I am finally catch up with Ms. Cassidy’s Accidentals Series. And already looking forward to the next adventure. In Accidentally Dragon we get all the normal cast of characters (Nina, Wanda & Marty) plus we get to see a little bit of each of the other characters (Darrel, Arch, Casey, Katie, Jeanine and the all the boys). And of course we get our

The Accidental Dragon, Accidentals #9, by Dakota Cassidy
Grade: B+

McAllister “Mick” Malone has spent years trying to protect his late best friend’s sister and repress his feelings for her. After swallowing what he thought was aspirin, Mick finds himself with wings and accidentally setting Tessa’s antique shop on fire and of course it’s all Tessa’s fault. Not long after Tessa is spewing fire back at Mick but luckily the O.O.P.s ladies are on vacation and ready to help with the newest paranormals.

I LOVED this book!!! What a wonderful addition to the Accidental Friends series. The Accidental Dragon adds three new members to the OOPS family.

This time firefighter Mick mistakenly ingests dragon scales, thinking that it was an aspirin-like headache powder. Soon after he accidentally breathes fire in Tessa's antiques shop. Tessa is the younger sister of his deceased best friend Noah. and Mick's love interest. Lucky for them Wanda, Marty and Nina just happen to have been browsing the store at

This was a delightfully funny read! I always love reading a Dakota Cassidy book. Her characters are brilliantly written and the dialogue is always a hilarious. Ms. Cassidy gives us a new twist to the dragon myth and I found it both refreshing and intriguing. Mick and Tessa have a love/hate relationship and I loved watching them grow from enemies to mates.

I did feel a little lost with all the characters being introduced into the story. I had only read one previous Accidentals book and I’m not
