Rebecca Olien was an elementary classroom teacher for 20 years in Wisconsin. She now lives in Oregon where she teaches education courses at Southern Oregon University and is the education program coordinator for Schneider Museum of Art. Rebecca has published many books and articles for both teachers and children.

I enjoyed this book, which was read w my K-2 class. It is filled with great illustrations of the water cycle, vocabulary, fun facts, and even a hands-on activity. The book may cause issue with young earth followers, as it does mention that "the water people drink today is the same water drank millions of years ago. The Earth's water is about 3 billion years old".

All around great book. All it lacks is some humor and a connection of the water cycle to the experience of animals or something. My kids understood it and didn't hate it and learned something so i'm counting this as a win!
