Perfect for a two or three-year-old, this book is a short search for a birthday boy, with many charming stories hidden in the illustrations.

This was my daughter's favorite board book as a small child, and enjoyed looking through it until she was about seven years old. When I pulled it out of storage the other day, she, at fourteen, was delighted. My four year old now loves it too. It's a sweet, well illustrated and simple story. The rhymes help it move forward, every one of the many young mice have their own personality, and the backgrounds alone are quite delightful. It's a great little book for wee ones.

Rhyming text leads children on a quest to help Wee Mouse find her children who are hidden on subsequent pages. Illustrations are detailed, encouraging further exploration. The mice are fairly easy to find, avoiding any frustration. Good for 3 and up.
