• Monster is looking for the perfect Halloween costume; he tries the several different masks but they are all too scary. Help monster find the perfect Halloween costume.
• Grades pre- k – 1
• I would use this in an English class setting during Halloween to keep students interested in class while they are excited about Halloween
• This could be a great book for an individual student that is struggling with what to wear for Halloween, a student that enjoys Halloween.
• This book could be used in a literature circle. Students could practice order of events using this book.
• The entire class could enjoy this book as a read aloud. Students will get cards that have pictures and words from the book on them and they will put the pictures in order. Students that finish that early will have cards with just the words to put in order.
• Other books like this include: Clem, The Clumsy Camel by Virginia Mueller
• This book is available through amazon and as an ebook.

Cute and simple Halloween story about a monster getting ready for trick-or-treat. What costume will he wear? Youngsters will be giggling.

A simple beginning to read Halloween tale in which a monster finds certain masks to be too scary. It's quite amusing to see the usual world reversed and notice all the extra little details in the illustrations that paint what's normal in the life of monster. A decent addition to a Halloween picture book collection
