If I was on a desert island .......well, you know how the game goes. I'd take any Blandings story. They are delightful, hilarious, and full of well-developed characters. I want to LIVE at Blandings Castle! I get tickled just thinking about them.

First Impression: Purple, what can be bad? I like it, it doesn���t seem to sugarcoat childhood. Also a great introduction. And I normally skip them.

It is extremely difficult to choose between Jeeves and Lord Emsworth, but I think the countryside just steals the setting away from the brilliant butler. Must read from the master of wit.
