Oh Naiad Press, I'm so glad you existed but not every book you printed was a winner. This book was fun because of the characters esp gay teacher/softball coach Alex and gay stable owner Brenda, but fullllllllll of plotholes and loose endings. Like, here are literally the last two sentences of the book "Alex though briefly of her infidelity with Brenda, then put it aside as she felt Sue's hands on her. And even as their passion grew, a feeling of peace settled over them." ?!?!?! In addition to the infidelity we never get closure on who the arsonist/kidnappers were and what motivated them.
It was kind of fun and campy but the writing was like medium-good fanfic.
