Feast of Dreams is a historical fantasy book. It is the second book of its series. Brutus has gone mad and has to be stopped. The tale continues with Morigan and the Wolf in the Alabion forest. They pursue trying to save all that is good while the queens of the East and West continue to fight for power.

This fantasy novel is nothing short of excellence. The literature is so strong, and the picturesque narrative style of writing seriously overwhelms you with delight. There are so many interesting

After re-reading Feast of Fates, I was beyond excited and ready to pick up the second book in Four Feasts Till Darkness series. Feast of Dreams by Christian A Brown did not disappoint. It went beyond every expectation, dream, hope, and nightmare I could have had. Brown remains an expert at weaving hope and destruction simultaneously with each character, each story, while propelling the overarching plot. There hasn’t been a series in a very long time that has managed to keep me solidly in its gri ...more

Deep character reveals complement great world building

Mr. Brown had a tough job to live up to his stellar Feast of Fates and he pulled it off! Feast of Dreams, the second book in the Four Feasts Till Darkness series, did not disappoint. In the best epic fantasy tradition, the story is all about journeys, both emotional and physical. The characters pursue their own missions to stop the mad Sun King Brutus. All these missions are woven together so skillfully you never lose track of any them, and y

A wonderful patchwork of characters

Christian A. Brown writes an entrancing second book in the Four Feasts series. Feast of Dreams is a perfect follow up, it continues the storyline without losing the threads of the first novel.
We follow the characters from the first book, but also have new characters expertly wound into the storyline. Each character is well developed with a shared history, sometimes one they are not aware of.
Morigan and Canieth are leading there newly established pack on a dang

In Feast of Dreams, we head back to Geadhain, our land of royals, sorcery, and fantasy. We catch up with Morigan and Caenith as they battle to save their land from destruction at the hands of the Mad King and his Black Queen. In this journey, we are transported to the forest of Alabion to face the darkness. This is not just any darkness. It the darkness of our heroes' pasts and the threat of a dark future. All the while, the Mad King grows his army, and there are a pair of queens (the Queens of ...more

I give this book 5 fangs

A fantastic fantasy novel that continues where feast of fates leaves off. Although I'm not a huge reader of this type of book I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

With the two queens trying to find a way to bring about each other's destruction and yet they both struggle to act quickly while the king is at a disadvantage and before his army can come into full power.

Morigan and the wolf as well as the rest of the group have to travel down dangerous paths and th

This second book still carries on with a similar writing style as Feast of Fates. You still have some of the heavy details yet this one gets a bit more interesting as you see all of the different people and their stories move around each other and come together. This is quite the large story to undertake. There is romance, evil, and magic. It has a lot of characters who's background goes very far in the past. A few places left me wanting to flip a few pages, while some of the scenes were very go ...more
