Primary English: Knowledge and Understanding

Rate this book
Trainees need secure understanding of their subject in order to become effective, creative and confident teachers. This specific, popular coursebook enables trainee primary teachers to develop their English subject knowledge. This third edition has been completely revised to match the new QTS Standards, and reflects the latest thinking from the Primary National Strategy and new English Framework. All popular, existing features have been retained, but are joined by new reflective tasks and "Moving On" sections which help trainees to develop the information in each chapter. New chapters on language and literacy acquisition, ICT and e-texts bring the text fully up-to-date.
