Silver Bells and Stetsons is a Christmas anthology of ten short stories. This book was generously provided to me by one of the authors in exchange for an honest review. The rating I gave this anthology is the average of the four stories that I read.

Ten authors, unique talents, all coming together to share good old-fashioned rugged romance in a time when life was a struggle, but the land was rugged and wild and people had to have spines of steel to survive. From small towns coming together to celebrate Christmas, when no child was left without a gift to a Kiowa slave who has escaped from the clutches of her captors only minutes before giving birth. This review is for The Perfect Gift by Lyn Horner.

[ I received this book free from one of the authors in this anthology and I thank them for their generousity. In exchange, I was simply asked to write an honest review, and post it. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255 “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"]

This ten novella bundle of Christmas romances are certainly something completely different from my usual read. I

Stone Mountain Christmas by Caroline Clemmons

I really enjoyed this book. It was nice to take a step back in time where there were rules and etiquette on mourning and moving on and how to court someone.

This book takes place in 1874 and centers around the community of Radford Crossing and Stone Mountain. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I will definitely read more of this series as I would love the background of many of the characters. That being said I felt like I wasn't

A Montana Cowboy Christmas by Kathleen Ball - 2 stars - If I wasn't familiar with another author in this anthology, I would have stopped reading because of this story. It was very focused on the physical reactions and relationship throughout the story. Though there was no sex in it, there were multiple references to Foster's physical reaction to Ginger.

Stone Mountain Christmas by Caroline Clemmons - 4 stars - I really enjoyed this story. It was a sweet romance. Though it was obvious that this w

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Marshal Mistletoe by Susan Horsnell.
If that's the standard of the rest of the stories it's going to be a wonderful collection and some new authors for me to follow.
This story is a western romance with action, drama, weddings, funerals and a kidnapping and beneath it all love. There was a lot going on but it all connected well and kept me engrossed. It's a favourite era of mine to read about in a country that's not native to me. The characters were real and

Cute Collection of Stories

I really enjoyed this historical romance collection. Only one of them was a prologue/ended on a cliffhanger. It's a nice feel good collection.

So far, only read 2 stories but both were nice.

What a great anthology of novellas centered around Cowboys, Christmas, and the historic Old West. A time when people were wilder, more trusting, and lived with a sense of community and fellowship. These stories made me laugh, made me cry, and made me desire a simpler time.

Since the books are sold separately, I leave this review on the book as a whole and not on any individual story within. Try it and discover some amazing new authors while at the same time enjoying the tales of familiar ones.
