This book was ok. It's written in the late 90s and it was not as good as the earlier stuff.

The nephew enjoyed it anyway and gave it 4 stars.

It's a beach read about going to the beach.

This one was kind of like the Dr. Seuss Dinosaurs book. Not that interesting and kind of a rip off.

A little too didactic for my taste.

Easy, rhyming text. I liked how it showed that sometimes responsibilities must be done first before the fun.

The cubs learn that chores come first before play time. When they go on vacation they all must pitch in to clean their cabin and put things away before the family can go swimming in the ocean.

Step into Reading Level 2, harder words, longer sentences, short plot, good for kids that can sound out words.

This whole series of books is great for children especially when they learn to start reading. This family of bears teaches great morals and ideals for everyone to have and great general life lessons.
