We went through all sorts of peregrinations to find this "impossible to find" book. My husband was obsessed with reading this after reading a review in a newspaper. He is an avid soccer fan, and therefore, so am I. I looked and looked and finally -- finally found this little gem. Both humanizing and humble, the simple photographs chronicle the world's obsession with "the beautiful game." The photographs range all over the world and speak for themselves in a most engaging manner. We treasure both the search for this book and the book itself. A true tiny gem in our collection of books.

I saw this book today in Oxfam and had to buy it. If you're excited by art/football then this small book makes a great example of the global football phenomenon.
