What is it about certain individuals that inspire not only themselves but also the people around them, organizations, and even whole nations to be more creative, innovative and transformational? The core premise of the book is geared around the idea that inspiring leaders are not only successful because of what they do. It is primarily because of who they are. A certain sense of being that comes with deeper levels of awareness, which turns ordinary people into inspiring leaders. Whether you are a CEO, a director, a student, a parent, or merely someone who wants to inspire and make a positive difference in the world, reaching deeper levels of awareness is what will help you make that difference.
Be... invites the reader to a state of deep introspection. It encourages a new way to process information and then, a new way to consider that information. Growth and personal evolution are at hand for all.
One is not encouraged to work constantly, to do more or to otherwise put more on the reader. No. It's the opposite of that, in fact. One is encouraged to simply sit still, to turn off the television and to let errant thoughts be just that without your recognition, as such.
The cover and format of the book are somewhat fun. It's easier to read than that mother of all dictionaries which are on display in most public libraries. It's smaller and square-shaped. This can make for some sneaky reading while sitting at your desk.
Don't be deceived by the size of this book. It is packed with so much inspiration and wisdom, that you will want to reread chapters after you are done.
I highly recommend taking the time to read this one!
