Gordon Rupert Dickson was an American science fiction author. He was born in Canada, then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota as a teenager. He is probably most famous for his Childe Cycle and the Dragon Knight series. He won three Hugo awards and one Nebula award.
This is really old fashioned SF. Another book I found in my parent's shelves. My mom read lots of SF. It was a bunch of short stories from the 50s and 60s. I can't remember much about them. There was one called hilifter about a guy who hijacked space ships. The one called Tiger Green was good, I think.
A nice little collection of sci fi short stories. A few really good, a few just fun. Worth the time and a breezy read. A nice palette cleanser of a book.
