For starters, Stratton is MINE, so just back off right now. All the other brothers are yours for the taking.

I still remember the day last summer when I sat on my deck and started Breaking Up with Barrett. I ignored all responsibilities (including my kids) and read it straight through. Greedy, I downloaded Fitz and dove right in. Then, I pestered Katy for Alex, because he hadn't been released yet. I need to know my manwhore could be reformed. But the day she gave us Stratton, I knew I had found a new favorite author who would stick with me for the long haul. With each one of the books in this set, you'll find yourself lost in the English Brothers web, never wanting to be found. My advice? Carve out some free time, because once you start with Barrett, you won't stop until you've finished Stratton.

Katy Regnery's series, The English Brothers, is one of my favorite contemporary romance series. These brothers are also one of my favorite fictional families. Barrett, Fitz, Alex, and Stratton are all rich, gorgeous, sweet siblings with great business minds that are put to good use at their family-owned investment firm, English & Company. They all have their flaws and scars and imperfections of course, but that's kind of what makes them great and their lives interesting. And once their ladies are added into the mix... things getting juicer and more intense and more heart-felt. Some of the brothers take a little longer to commit... like my dear Alexander. But I love the smoldering manwhore anyway and always will love him. He just needed one captivating, spunky Jessica Winslow to see him for what he could be. And once he falls in love for the first time.... wow! What an incredible moment.

Any of Regnery's stories are wonderful, but this series especially is great and one of a kind. Her writing style is almost lyrical. With sweet, sweeping sentences that just fit perfectly to make up a passionate love scene or just a good brotherly/family moment.

One of my favorite parts of each book are the strong family ties. The brothers are more like friends rather than family. They stand up for each other and support their sibilings through his pig-headed decisions and they always come through for each other because that's what family does.

Any reader will love these books if they enjoy a romantic story without all the fantasy, paranormal, and magical aspects in it. Because love can be pretty magical on its own.

So if you buy this set, you will get your money's worth because you will be reading it again and again and again! And look for Weston and Kate English's stories as well. And the spin-off series, the Winslow Brothers too. Names will pop up within each book, so keep a look out.

Be warmed before reading these books though because you will be wishing you could find a real life English brother for your every own.

The English Brothers series were my first introduction to Katy Regnery, and she has quickly become one of my favorite writers. I am an avid reader, and prefer series. I usually can read a series in a week. When reading like I do, it is nice to become familiar with the characters. So you can gather that I read ALOT of different authors. I find Katy's work very refreshing, and new, which draws me to her work. I read Breaking up with Barrett within 2 sittings, and I became hooked. I read The English Brothers back to back. I enjoyed getting to know the English Brothers and their loves. Barrett's story is SO captivating, there will be no way you could NOT read the other books. In a nutshell... you have Barrett the serious investment banker & the family gardener's daughter, Stratton the rather shy brother with the firecracker Valeria, and Alex the Playboy & the Beautiful Jessica (Jess)the neighbor girl that went away, and came back a heart breaking beauty. So there is definitely a story for everyone. I have in fact read every English Brothers book, and I am on to the Winslows (a neighboring family) Its worth your time. I found every book to be impossible to put down, and just as good, if not better than the last.

Simply wonderful! I fell in love with the English Brothers from the beginning. All rich, smart, gorgeous and yet so different, they're the men every woman wants. And wait to meet the heroines: amazing. At the end of book #4 I was not able to say who is my favorite brother or heroines. All the 4 stories are well written, funny and sexy. And now available all together in one box. A Must Read.

Favorite Quotes:

"Emily was overwhelmed by the dueling sensations of comfort and risk, which made her feel scared and safe, set adrift while firmly anchored. It made her breathless. It made her brave."

"You were a tiny baby and I was little boy and reached into my chest and stole my heart, and it’s been yours ever since. You’re home and sweetness and truth and brilliance and you’re sexy and teasing and the most fun I ever had. And if you want to know what’s real, here’s the most elemental truth I know: You’re the love of my life, Emily Edwards. And whatever it takes, I’ll do it. Just to be with you."

"The ten or twelve feet apart from her was suddenly unbearable and as though Fitz was made of iron and she was a magnet, he felt pulled to her in an uncompromising way, compelled to move closer to the force of nature that was Daisy Edwards."

“…you sigh in your sleep, did you know that? You sigh. And I decided it’s the last sound I want to hear before I die, Daisy. I want to hear you. Sighing beside me.”

“You’re Alex English, the person who was kind to me when I was scared, when I was left out, when my heart was breaking.” Her voice was thread with emotion, so she stopped speaking for a moment, offering him the bravest smile she could manage before finishing her little speech. “I know exactly who you are.”

“So… no one’s faking a pregnancy, stalking you, looking for compensation after buying a wedding dress, blackmailing you with compromising pictures, or sending their ex-military boyfriend to kill you over an unauthorized bedroom video?”

My Review:

I enjoyed each and every page of this anthology in equal measure. I didn’t expect to like Alex as much as I did since he started off as an unabashed cad, and admitted “club manwhore” - but he grew on me. Ms. Regnery’s writing is enjoyable, descriptive, and inventive. Each character is of course exceedingly good looking, successful, smart, witty, and endowed with unique personalities and endearing quirks. I found the love scenes were deliciously steamy, yet tenderly sensual. I had read each book one at a time, ,and while book series tend to make me a bit nervous as I tend to forget too many important details between volumes, I was relieved that each book could stand alone with no cliffhangers, but I also enjoy how the books and characters overlap. I wish this family had more members just to keep this series going into infinity.

Though I've recently uploaded my reviews of the first 4 books in the "Blueberry 1 - The English Brothers" as stand alone novels, I'm actually a cheat ;) I bought them in this set but thought it would be better to have an individual review for each.

Here are the links to the individual reviews:

1. Breaking Up with Barrett [Barrett & Emily] ★★★★
2. Falling For Fitz[Fitz & Daisy] ★★★★
3. Anyone But Alex[Alex & Jessica] ★★★★
4. Seduced by Stratton[Stratton & Val] ★★★★★

I really enjoyed this book set, I gotta say, the last one of Stratton was my absolute favorite! It would be hard for me to try and rank the others though :) Each had it's own magic that made the story so sweet and special.

The first 3 books were rekindled love but each was different and not only because though the English brothers have enough in common they are also VERY different from one another. I loved the ladies they fell for. Each was a strong willed woman who knew what she wanted in life and was willing to fight for what she believed in. All 4 of them truly saw the men they were after for what they really are and were accepting of them as they were, not falling into the over emotional traps we see in many romance novels. Even if an act was a bit "too much" if it was "true to character" they accepted it for what it was.

The novels in this one aren't long, round 200 pages which also means they are mostly about the romance buildup with very little happening on the outside. It's very sweet and loving, without a lot of angst or plot twisters. You have to be into the romance 100% and if you are you'll LOVE this series. I enjoyed it, though I would have been happy to get more in the first 3 installments. With Stratton I got it ALL. I'm TOTALLY in love with him.. my PERFECT book boyfriend <3

What a great boxed set. I have read all of them , and loved every word the Katy wrote.

Breaking Up With Barrett
I was hooked from the first chapter to the last. I could not put it down, like all of her books.
Barrett is rich and Emily's parents are the hired help. Barrett knew he was in love when he first held Emily as a baby and he was eight. Through all the years he was always there to help Emily, even though she did not know. How many times does she need to break up with Barrett, until they both get it right. I was so happy when Emily got her HEA.

Falling For Fitz
The story of Daisy and Fitz, it starts out nine years earlier with a bad ending of their summer together, per Daisy's insistence that the romance ends. Fast forward, Daisy returns to town. Fitz has never given up on hope to reunite with Daisy. Fitz has the biggest heart that I have ever known. He has won me over.

Anyone But Alex
This is the story of Alex, the third English brother to get his story. Alex the reformed male whore, does not do commitments and the only way to have a girl friend was, if it was temporary. Until in walks Jessie, a childhood friend who was years younger than Alex. Jessica is only in the states for the holidays, so it will be perfect for Alex. Alex falls deep into Jessie's heart. Can they figure out how to live on two continents and can Jessie survive the past life that Alex lead.

Seduced by Sratton
These English Brother's just keep getting better and better. This is the story of Stratton, who I believe is very insecure with girls and quirky in his behavior, but I have fallen in love with. He thinks he has the right girl in life but does the girl have the same feelings as him. I do't want to give away too much in my review, but this is a must read. I will leave you with two of my favorite quotes, "Don't settle for good enough when you both want something exceptional." and "Don't ever come near me again Stratton English. You're in love with me? Well, I'm in hate with you!"

I am super excited about this collection because I LOVE Katy’s English Brothers series.

Barrett and Emily have known each other all their lives and though not knowing it have been in love with each other forever, after getting through some obstacles they get their happily ever after.

Fitz and Daisy are a whirlwind summer romance that ends in heartbreak… until Daisy moves back to Philly and ends up running into Fitz. They realize they are still in love but there is a HUGE obstacle Daisy is marrying someone else. Fitz does everything in his power to keep her and in the end he gets her.

Alex and Jessica… Alex is a bit of a jerk face manwhore in the beginning but he out of NOWHERE is slapped in the face by love. Jessica is from the Winslow family and just visiting her family for the holidays when she and Alex hook up. Though she has been in love with him for a long time, it is only supposed to be at temporary thing. I didn’t care for Alex as much as I had hoped I would. He just had some character traits that I really didn’t like.

Stratton and Valeria are an unlikely couple, Stratton is very laid back, shy and quiet, and Valeria is very spicy, sassy, and sweet. When I read Stratton he was my favorite of the series. Him and Val are so right for each other but he is super hung up on someone else who he thinks needs him, but he is kind of obtuse and can’t see that he is being taken advantage of. But he finally gets with her and OHHHHHH it is awesome! Love these two.

I have to say that I love that despite all the hurdles Katy makes her characters go through there is always… ALWAYS a happily ever after.

The first book in this series, Breaking Up With Barrett, was sent as a FREE suggestion on my daily bookbub.com email, and I immediately fell in love with the English family. The Englishes are an affluent family from the Philadelphia area. Together, they run the family's prestigious private equity firm, English & Sons.

The brothers couldn't be more different from each other, but they all have 2 things in common. First, they love and support each other as brothers and best friends. Even when they disagree, at the end of the day, they always have each other's back. And second, when an English falls in love, they fall hard and fierce. Their happily ever after took time (in some cases, years), but each journey was entertaining, swoon-worthy, and heart-wrenching to read.

Ms. Regnery sets the perfect pace with each book with just the right amount of angst, romance, passion, and heartbreak to keep you turning the pages. I devoured this entire series in about 10 days.

Kissing Kate was a great end to the English Brothers series, and the Winslows are off to a great start with me already swooning over Brooks and Preston, with Cameron and Christopher on the way.

Each book can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading the entire series from the beginning to get the full picture of all the characters and their relationships with each other. This is contemporary romance writing at its finest! You won't be sorry and you won't want to stop until you've devoured every book in this series!!!!

What else can I say but WOW.... Katy Regnery has me addicted to these brothers. The way she writes I swear they are real and she is really telling their stories. The very first book I read of her's was "The Vixen and the Vet" and after that had to find everything she has wrote.
"The English Brothers Boxed Set, Books #1-4" is AWESOME and you will be swooning over these men. Also just an fyi... wait till you start reading about the Winslows (the other brothers who live in the neighborhood). I still stand by my previous theory... I think they real, because the way she tells each story... with such attention to detail without being boring, they are steamy, romantic and so, so lovable.
Enjoy!!!

I have read the sweet intense story of Barrett, 1st of the English brothers so far. I absolutely adored the story and swooned over the intros of each of the brothers in book 1.Post Book 1, I had other books of Katy's and was super happy when she announces the box set of the English brothers 1-4.

Now, you should read the book if you want to swoon, giggle over a brooding, sweet, intense, vulnerable and so much more Hero. The couple is pretty perfect and makes you go through a range of emotions as a part of their story. It gives you hope in love.Love , mixed with great chemistry, compatibility and understanding, conquers all is my takeaway from Book 1. Book 1 definetly made me pick up rest of the book in the series and from the author.

This Super Addictive series will be added to your Favorite Author list in no time. Katy does a great job of grabbing your attention and keeping you involved with each of the characters making you want to follow the series from beginning to end. Each character evolves and can participates in each story. That keeps you involved and wanting more through out each book and the series.
This series needs to be on your kindle, in your TBR pile or just stared already. I was hooked from "Breaking up with Barrett". There is something relate-able with each brother and their heroine that will have you craving more.

Get lost in Blueberry Lane with the hot and handsome English Brothers, Barrett, Fitz, Alex and Stratton. This is one of my favorite contemporary romance series. Here is a quick rundown of these fabulous men and their stories. Barrett "The Shark" learns a thing or two about love and the honesty of it in Breaking Up with Barrett. Fitz is given a second chance on the one that got away in Falling for Fitz. Alex learns to win the love of the one he wants, he must change his ways in Anyone but Alex. And last but not least, Stratton finds love in the most unlikely of people in Seduced by Stratton. All wonderful stories that will have you wanting them all as your new book boyfriend.

Katy has a way with words and you won't be disappointed with these books. When you get finished with these go read the other series by Katy, you'll want to, trust me!

I have read all of the English Brothers books and believe me you will not be disappointed with this box set!! I don't think I ever read about such sexy Brothers!! And just when I thought they couldn't get any sexier the next brother's story is told. Katy Regnery nailed the dynamic of these brothers, they way they interact with each other, pick on each other etc. I laughed I cried and loved them all!

I absolutely love this series! I have read and reread it more times than I could count. The characters pull you in and make it where you don't want to leave their world. Then you just have to read the next one. Each character is so different with their own baggage that these books don't fall into that feeling of repetitiveness in the later books. I highly recommend this series, but beware you won't be able to stop at just one.

I highly recommend this box set. It is amazing. It will be something that you read and reread over and over. Each story is better than the next if that is possible. Grab a few tissues because you might need them. I love all the brothers but Stratton pulled me in. He kind of has a hero complex where he thinks he is needed somewhere when he should be with Valeria instead. I can’t say enough good about these books!!!

The English Brothers series is fantastic. Every time I think Katy can't write a better book she does. Each book is about a different brother, and they are all hotter than the one before. Alex is my absolute favorite, but they are all very endearing. If you enjoy sexy books with a smattering of surprises along the way to their happily ever after then give this set a try. You'll be very glad that you did!

I only read the first book in the box set, but almost DNF. I didn't read the other three books.
Book one was okay; the beginning was really good, the end was meh. Rushed and without much depth. A very quick read but it didn't make me want to read more. I do think I might want to give the author's newer books a try but, for this one, I didn't get the feels I was looking for.

This English Brothers boxed set includes the first four full-length novels from Katy Regnery's Blueberry Lane series about Barrett, Fitz, Alex and Stratton. Prepare yourself to fall in love with these insanely handsome blond and blue-eyed English brothers! A fair warning: they are absolutely addictive and it's very hard to choose a favorite!!!

All the English brothers are blessed with great looks but have very different personalities. Together they are running the family investment banking company English & Sons. Even if they are not always the same opinion they love and support each other on every occasion.

Barrett is the eldest English brother and CEO of English & Sons. He is very tough and rational. Fitz is the Chief Compliant Officer of the firm and is obedient and prudent. Alex is the CFO and playboy in the family who has commitment issues while Stratton is the most quiet and shy brother.

There is a book about the fifth and youngest English brother Weston (Wild About Weston) and their cousin Kate (Kiss Me Kate) which are not included in this boxed set. I can't wait to read them too!

Katy Regnery's beautiful writing will carry you off into the magnificent world of Blueberry Lane. You will swoon about her English brothers and love the ladies of their choosing. The stories to their HEAs will make you cry, laugh and smile. You will feel the love in the English family and will desperately wish to be a part of them. Read this amazing boxed set, you won't regret it. I absolutely recommend it!

Book #1 (Breaking Up with Barrett) is about Barrett, the eldest English brother and CEO of English & Sons and Emily Edwards who is the daughter of his family's gardener and housekeeper. One day Barrett approaches Emily in order to offer her a "job" as his fiancee. It's her duty to accompany him to business dinners in order to soften his image as The Shark of his industry. Will the line between illusion and reality start to blur?

Book #2 (Falling for Fitz) is about childhood sweethearts Fitz English and Daisy Edwards that fell in love during one magical summer but were separated under tragical circumstances. They are reunited after 10 years separation and are surprised to discover that their feelings for one another are as strong as ever. The problem is that two major things are standing between them: their unfinished business from the past and Daisy's engagement. Is destiny giving them a second chance?

Book #3 (Anyone but Alex) is about Alex English, a manwhore par excellence,  who unexpectantly reunites with his childhood friend Jessica Winslow who has turned into a beautiful young woman. They both decide to rekindle their old friendship but the growing attraction between them will put their friendship to the test. Will Alex's playboy reputation and Jessica's disapproving brothers forever destroy their chance of a HEA?

Book #4 (Seduced by Stratton) is about  Stratton, the hottest but most shy English brother and quirky Valeria Campanile, a PhD candidate who studies Courtship Rituals but can't seem to find herself courted. When Stratton helps Valeria with a financial problem, she is anxious to return the favor. Will Stratton be able to seduce his neigbor Amy with the help of Valeria or will she end up being seduced by Stratton instead?

After reading this boxed set I can assure you that you are going to fall deeply and irrevocably in love with the English brothers. These blond-haired and blue-eyed adonises are not only amazingly hot, they are also smart and charming. Although they resemble each other physically the siblings have completely different personalities.

Barrett is the oldest brother. He is a tough business man called 'The Shark' who is secretly in love with a friend since childhood. Fitz is the rule follower in the family and the second oldest child. He could never forget the girl he once met when he was 20 years old and who showed him how to let loose and have fun. Alex is a notorious manwhore and the middle child. He never spent a thought about commitment until he meets again a woman from his past. Stratton is the second youngest and is well-known for his nerdy and socially awkward behaviour. He wants to win over a woman but ends up falling for another.

Each and every story was beautiful and unique on its own. I loved every couple and enjoyed witnessing their way to their HEA/HFN. These stories made me laugh, cry, shout and swoon. The dialogues were witty and there was just enough amount of angst and no unnecessary drama. I liked the strong bond between the brothers and how they cared for and supported each other unconditionally. It made me very happy that their love interests were intelligent and independent women. Their relationships were based on an equal footing although they weren't all born with a silver spoon in their mouth like the English brothers. Let me tell you that the love scenes in these books were sexy, sensual and breathtaking. They will make your kindle burst into flames!

There is something special about the writing style of Katy Regnery that never ceases to amaze me. Her words simply speak to my heart and soul. Her characters appeal to me and her stories always immediately catch my interest from page one. I highly recommend this boxed set and can't wait to read the next two books (about the youngest English brother - Weston - and their cousin Kate) in this addictive series.

The English Brothers are definitely ones you don't want to miss!! From the beginning, I fell in love with all of the brothers so I can't choose just one. They are hot, sophisticated, and somewhat rude, but that's what makes them well worth the read.

Katy brings out the couple from each of the books and makes you feel like you are right there in the moment watching it happen. The women who end up with these guys are definitely strong and can put up with anything these guys bring them. Katy's books are so well-written and I'm a longtime fan who always grabs up these books as soon as I can.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good hot, sexy man and a steamy romance, with some attitude thrown into the mix.

Worth It

So, it generally takes me awhile to fall in love with a new voice in romantic fiction, but Katy Regenery's Blueberry Lane novels have quickly become new favorites of mine. They are fun reads in an engaging style—I only wish they contained slightly more setting, rounder minor characters, more sibling interaction/advice as the romance develops, and slightly more compelling conflicts. But at the same time, the inevitability of these stories is one of their most charming features. Regenery's talent lies in primary-character-driven world-building, and I'm really interested in not only seeing how the Englishes' series concludes, but how her novels develop with regard to the other local families.
