This is a short read but a lot happens, which makes me wonder why some books are so damn long!

Linc has recently left the military and is looking to put some roots down somewhere. He isn't sure what he is looking for until he lays eyes on Autumn, a gorgeous mechanic living in Lake Point. This trip was to be a fleeting visit to see an old friend but there is something about this girl that has him feeling like he can't leave without exploring.

Autumn is not interested in any man associated

Oh my dayz. I really need to read more of this authors books. I found this to be a light and beautiful read.

Autumn has sworn off all military men. Then Linc enters her life. He's a retired soldier and willing to fight for what he wants. He's got a battle in his hands with Autumn.

I read this in one sitting. It's a shortish read and I read it in one sitting.

Oh one question.. What is brats?? To me a brat is a Derogatory term for a spoilt person-mostly a small child. In this story they were eating

Autumn, bike shop owner extraordinaire, is visiting Clay, looking for a car part. While there, Clay gets a visitor, and it's obvious he's happy about it. As for Autumn, she's too busy drooling over the bike the stranger rode in on. But when she does take the time to acknowledge him, two things strike her. First, he's gorgeous, and second, his bearing screams military. It's the latter that brings forth heartbreaking memories for Autumn.

Autumn Trask lives with her retired, military dad. She would use that word retired loosely. He still is in the shop and tinkers around. They own a bike shop and she runs it. She has pink hair and is very sassy. She rides a motorcycle and takes care of her dad. She is also very closed off and has sworn off military men.

Lincoln Meyer goes by “Linc.” He comes to town to visit his friends and take some time off counselling wounded warriors. He is a wounded warrior. He lost his leg in the war and now

This was a short sweet read that got the job done. It was able to give you the gist of a whole long book in 11 chapters. I wish there was a little more to the epilogue but I was still happy with it.

After having been engaged to a military man and losing him in Afghanistan, Autumn has sworn off all military men for good. She barely dates and spends all.of her free time running her motorcycle shop and spending time with her dad, who is also wounded veteran. While at her friend Clay's shop looking

This is my first read by Sarah Cass and I loved it. It was well written and the characters were perfect. Autumn came off as a hard a**. Linc was hot and just wanted to figure out what was in store for his future.

Wow what can I say about Stars, Stripes & motorbikes.

It is simply amazing. It brings into prospective of what losing someone can do, but it's okay to be happy again.

We meet Autumn, she is fun motorcycle rider. She works in her garage with her dad who taught her everything she knows about cars and motorbikes. She has a broken heart and has sworn off solider men. It all changes when she meets Lincoln in Clay's shop.

We meet Lincoln, he came to visit his friend Clay whilst out riding for the

Autumn Trask’s life had been impacted by the military and brought her nothing but pain. Her father lost both his legs in the Gulf War and her fiancé was killed in action. She is therefore determined to never let the military impact her life ever again. But then Lincoln Myer rode into town and all her determination was severely tested but would it finally be crushed?

This was a very light hearted read which was not what I was expecting from the synopsis. This is the first book I have read in this

Autumn has one rule: no men who are serving or who have served their country in the forces. This rule is designed to protect herself from further heartache but her heart doesn't seem to get the message. When veteran Lincoln rides into town he severely tests her resolve. Lincoln is burned out as his work counselling wounded service men and women has taken its toll on him, leaving him riding across the country to find himself again. Can these two wounded hearts come together and heal?

I am new to author Sarah Cass. Stars, Stripes, & Motorbikes is the first book I have read by her, until now. I will be going back to read more of her books. She develops her characters, has witty banter between them, and puts their feelings so you can understand what they are going through.
Autumn has had some ups and downs in her life. She currently runs a garage so that her father can 'retire'. Because of her past, she has sworn off having anything to do with military men.

Copy given for honest review.
This story tugs at the heartstrings, its a little sad, very inspiring and also brings in to highlight just a few of the problems that not only Veterans with missing limbs go through but civilians and the families do as well. Its not just coping with missing limbs, its trying to get back to living a life away from the Military. Adapting how you do everyday things as simple as riding a motorbike, managing to get around places, allowing space in homes for wheelchairs

To put it simply I loved this book. This was a new to me author and I have a feeling I'll be going back over her back catalog because of how much I loved this book. Linc is quite simply magnificent. Autumn has her issues and her reasons for how she is that are understandable and Linc deals with those issues and everything that happens in the book frankly with grace, even though that's an attribute normally considered feminine in nature. It was really nice to read a book that understands bikers ...more
Reckless Readers
I like the message this novel sends, that it's okay to let go from the past and move on. At times it's hard to watch the fearless Autumn struggle with being around Linc. She lost her fiancée to the war and isn't ready to take a chance on Linc. He's super resilient though and that helps her walls crumble. It's a super easy read that will have you falling in love with this cute little small town all of it's charm.

Autumn can't get over Grady who died serving his country. She has vowed never to date a soldier again.
Linc is a vet who lost his leg during the war. He loves his bike and helping people cope with his counseling. He gets along great with her dad, Murphy. He wants her but she keeps shutting him down.
They banter back and forth and when she finally gives in, she sees exactly how much love Linc gives. Excellent writing with a great storyline.

Received a copy. Sarah Cass brought two characters, Autumn and Linc, that are looking for more. Autumn is a no military dating woman. Linc , ex soldier, that has a few things he doesn't want known. They both battle with secrets. Autumn and Linc have an attraction for each other but can they trust one another and open up? Can they leave the past behind and enjoy the ride into the future? Great story and a quick read!

This novella is centered around a broken down LTD, Clay who owns the car repair shop, and Autumn Trask who runs the bike shop in town. When Clay comes in and finds Autumn climbing around on his shelves in his garage, looking through boxes, what happens? After convincing her to climb down, there's the sound of a motorcycle outside. Clay goes out to meet whomever just pulled up and of course, Autumn follows and goes googly-eyed over the motorcycle. Why? When the owner of the bike sticks a hand in ...more

Sarah Cass’ world is regularly turned upside down by her three special needs kids and loving mate, so she breaks genre barriers; dabbling in horror, straight fiction and urban fantasy. She loves historicals and romance, and characters who are real and flawed, so she writes to understand what makes her fictional people tick. And she lives for a happy ending – eventually. And enough twists to make ...more
