This is a cute book about a dog thinking his friends will make fun of him for having a new haircut.

There are so few words my 4 year-old cousin complained it was too short. But she did like it.

Since it is an easy reader, it would be good for a very new reader.

This story shows how even though children sometimes don't want to get their hair cut, it can look really cute and feel good too! Besides, other people might even love it!

I thought that this book was very relatable because I have a small white dog that looked just like the main character. My dog does not like getting his hair cut either, just like the dog in the story. I think that a pet getting a haircut is very relatable and in the classroom this book would be really good as an early reader. The language is very simple and can be an interesting choice for students beginning to read.

This is a level 1 reader, very simple but cute book. Has simple single sentences per page that a beginning reader wouldn't have trouble reading and could get it down quickly helping boost their self esteem.

My 4 year old granddaughter giggled throughout this book as I read it to her. The puppy didn't want a hair cut, then was embarrassed to be with his friends after. But he figured out a way to be happy with them all.

why on earth would anybody (besides a poodle owner) cut a dog's hair? unnecessary cruelty. that being the case this is a book designed to show that a haircut doesn't make you a freak no matter how bad you feel.

my favourite page of the book is the last one where the previous owner, obviously a child, scrawled in pencil "lif is good!"

This book is about a dog who passionately did not want his hair cut, and he thought that his dog friends were going to make fun of him. He was nervous when his friends came over to his house, but he came out wearing sun glasses and a ball cap looking cool. His friends thought he was cool and his hair cut too.

My 5 year old was a little surprised to read the word "hate." Not a word we use lightly around here. He was surprised to see a dog say it about a haircut.

As a child I did enjoy this book, however reading back it almost gives the illusion that looks and popularity are everything, something that is a prominent issue in schools today.
