4.0STARS!!!

HOTis the word that best describes this book by Jody Pardo. Right from the beginning you will be thrown into a sizzling and yet funny scenes you'll never know what to do or feel...whether you'll be aroused or just laugh with the moment.

This story is just quick and short but the author covers what she wanted to deliver. No complications...no drama...yet sexy and at the same time funny. It would have been better though if there is more introductions or backgrounds of the characters.

Fun, quirky short read that is perfect for those moments when you want a break from longer complex novels.

Maggie loves her job, being the executive assistant of Blake definitely comes with some great perks. The fact she has been in love with him for years now is just another one in her book. She wouldn’t think anything could happen between them so just copes with using images of him and her own hot thoughts to keep her warm at night. Well he is a fine specimen of a man so you can hardly blame

3.5 stars.
Maggie Silipo is doing a job she loves for the boss she’s been in love with forever. There are no 2 ways about it but Blake Matthews sees her as his most trusted employee only. They rarely bump into each other due to their work schedules but talk via email, text and video conference every day to keep his IT business flowing smoothly. She is Blake’s right hand woman and little does he know just how much he is going to need her.
Thanksgiving weekend gives Maggie the well-deserved

She has a bit of a crush on him however they don’t have anything more than a working friendship. Then Blake has a snowboarding accident and Maggie rushes to his side to be there for him. Will this help Blake see Maggie as more than a friend and employee? Maggie learns more about Blake while helping some of it irritates her cause she doesn’t want to think of him with ...more

Maggie has a great job, a wonderful apartment, lots of travel and a boss she never sees in person. Since they are located in two different states, much less cities, their paths very rarely cross. However, they do have a pretty congenial relationship. Still, when Blake has an accident on vacation and Maggie has to step in to help him in both his business and personal lives things between them take a different spin.

Jody Pardo is a new to me author who really impressed me with the ability to tell

I loved this book! Maggie is Blake's assistant when he is in his New York office of his IT company. Maggie wishes she was more than just his assistant, and secretly fantasizes about her boss, even as he sleeps with another woman in the next room. When Blake gets injured in a snowboarding accident, Maggie is there for him, helping with work and helping him get around. Will being so close to Maggie make Blake see her in a different light? Or is Maggie destined to just be his assistant and friend, ...more

Screaming In The New Year is a good one. I thought it started out slow and ended to early but other than that it was good.

Maggie is Blake's assistant at Leverage Logistics. They are rarely in the same place at the same time. But when they are in the same place their relationship is more friendly than boss and assistant. I loved Maggie, she funny and sweet. Blake has an accident and things change for Maggie and Blake and I was hooked and wanted to read quicker so I could see if they crossed over

Love this story.

Maggie is Blake's assistant. They normally are in two different cities. She stays at his place when he leaves town because the servers are there. He goes on a ski trip and has a major fall. She ends up helping him during his rehab. She sees a different side of him. Love the way they interact. He is funny during this time. His mom is high end. This is a awesome book about falling for the boss.

4 STARS!!!
It is an amazing, hot and short read with sizzling chemistry between the main protagonists.
Maggie is the geeky assistant whose definition of a fun time is checking servers and doing her job.
Blake is the hot owner whose fun time consists of parties and girls.
When one accident brings them together, there is chemistry and loads of wet dreams.
This is a light and fun read and I give it 4 stars.

Ms. Jody nailed it again! Screaming In the New Year blew me away. From the start up to the last, I was hooked in the story. There are times that I want to punch Blake but as the story goes....I started to like him. Anyway, despite being a short read, this book has it all! Hot scenes and amazing story!
