If you want to know what data vault is, well this is the book. Microsoft technologies are used for the technical examples (T-SQL, SSIS, etc.) and they are well described and include print screens. So for a developer or architect perspective, it’s an interesting book. As for swearing that using the data vault architecture is the best way to deliver rapidly something to business users, I’m not sure. Even if it is used in an “agile” manner. But it’s another debate and as a Kimball methodology fan, I'm not the most objective.
