So many out loud laughs. Hilarious. Fun. I must absolutely get the rest of this series. I had a great time reading this one.
Demon hunting I find to be fun and filled with adventure. This one had extras. Lots of laughs. I mean burst out loud laughs. Sassy and Grim. You should know what you getting into when the heroines name is Sassy and she is from the south. What should not be expected was the sexy, golden perfection of Grim. With a name like that I certainly got more than I was expecting.

As usual with this series this was a hilarious escapade with lovable characters for the most part (with a couple of exceptions) and I loved it.
This time we have Sassy, a caricature of every cheerleader you ever loved or hated and Grim the Demon Hunter and it was a wonderful time to be had by all. Sassy seems to have the ability to find trouble anywhere she goes and tries to be happy and perky all the time until the people want to scream :)

Since I binged this series over the past week or so, my review is going to be briefly (or as brief as I ever get) touch on the specific book and then there will be an overall series section. You can choose to read both bits, or not. As you like.

Book Specific Review: Grim and Sassy - when I began this book, I wasn't sure if with names like Grim and Sassy, this book was going to be more like the first two books in the series and less like book 3. I'd say it's a blend - there are some wacky moment ...more

I really liked this paranormal romance. It has mystery, magic, ghosts, monsters, bad ass warriors, spunky heroines, a giant serving of humor and a sweet romance.
It was very low on angst, definitely a more tickle-your-funny-bone type of read. I loved it! I didn't get lost or confused jumping right into this read. The author gives you just enough information to keep the story going at a nice pace (so if you haven't read the others like yours truly, don't sweat it, I enj ...more

This is one of my auto-buy series. The only thing I can think of that's wrong with it is that there aren't enough books, fast enough. Humor, but not slap-stick stuff. This book is well-written and edited... such an unusual pleasure these days.
You might have to be a Southerner (or of a certain age) to really 'get' the full stories, but I am one, and I love that even in this contemporary pnr story, Ms. George lets me revisit my own childhood summe ...more

The men in this series are always protective, Sassy's man Grim is no different, "the flicker of amusement on Grim’s face vanished. “Direct me to this Joel. I will tear him limb from limb.” These men are not...particularly civilized, so it always entertaining to see their actions, the way they speak, and their overall nature, "Sassy laughed. Grim closed the space between them in a blur of movement. “That is a lovely sound.” His gruff voice danced along her nerve endings. “I would hear it again.”

This book gave me whip lash and a cavity from all of the sweetness. Sassy has been sheltered her whole life but there are still family issues surround her brother who recently died. When Sassy goes to finalize the sale of some of her brother's property, she stumbles into Hannah which is a paranormal hotspot for any number of different species.
She meets a bunch of people, demon hunters, fairies, witches and half demon/half human people just to name a few. Sassy had no clue any of this existed so ...more

Sassy has no idea what she started when she ran her step-daddy Joel's Maseratti off the road and into a river. But Sassy is always perky and positive no matter what. Until she's not. When a big, muscular warrior shows up to rescue her, and tells her to stay put, daddy's adventure beginners in earnest. The story of how Sassy Peterson meets demon hunter, Grim, was so delightfully unexpected that I just might have to give in and buy a physical copy to add to my shelves! Sassy is an aptly named character. She is so spunky and positive that she should drive me nuts, but she is adorable and a complete opposite to the big, intimidating Grim.

I love this author! She really delivers on a strong romance with whimsical silliness thrown in.
I had to read the series out of order as I wait for the delivery of the missing books from the series to come in so I was a bit confused. The story refers to some events I missed by not reading book 3 and some of the characters from previous books were conspicuously absent. Are they on their honeymoons?

The author continues to deliver page turners with lots of whimsical humour and steamy romance.
Hurricane Sissy blazes into life on a ray of sunshine. She is a force of nature to be reckoned with. Grim has no idea what hit him until it's too late. Mother-of-pearl.

Wrapped up rather quickly but a very fun read.
This series is always a hoot! I normally don’t like perky people but you can’t help but like Sassy. She’s so likable! And Grim needed someone like that in his life. I wish Sassy had the chance to meet some of the other Davhani mates. They need to start a club or something. Otherwise, pretty fun. And I hope Evan gets his own story.

It has been three years since the last Demon Hunter book. While I enjoyed reading it, it seemed to meander from beginning of the story until the end dropping some characters and walking away from some plot points. With such a long delay since the last book, it was hard to pick up where we left off with the characters. I had a vague recollection of some things but not where we left off with everyone.[/box]

I didn't realize this was the fourth book in a series until I told my daughter about the book & discovered I was mistaken! It seemed like a stand-alone story. So I don't know if the previous books connect in some way to this one but this seemed like a complete story...

Lexi George's books make me happy. I was feeling grumpy today when I started Demon Hunting with a Dixie Deb, and it totally distracted me and put me in a better mood. Plus its always uplifting to know that I am not the only crazy attorney out there... Lexi being a lawyer as well lets me know that it's okay for me to be a little outrageous and yell things like "SON OF A BISCUIT!" and other creative southern swears around the office when I get a paper cut, or trip over my own feet, or have to deal

>This is the fourth book in the Demon Hunting series and ends in an HEA. We first meet Sassy as she drives a Maserati into a river. My first impression of Sassy was rich, bimbo. However, my opinion of her changes during the course of the story. She is rich and likes nice things. Her life has been sheltered, but not without heartache. She is a very caring person. For some reason her caring attitude creates a false persona of a bimbo. Sassy is surpri ...more

Demon Hunting with a Dixie Deb is the fourth installment in Lexi George’s Demon Hunting series. From what I gather, each book in the series features different, but connected, main characters. I hadn’t read any of George’s previous installments, and for the most part, didn’t feel lost. Demon Hunting with a Dixie Deb can be easily read as a standalone.

It's been a while since we have seen a Demon Hunting series book. Long awaited for readers who are fans of the series. Demon Hunters continue to fall in love in this new book while we also visit some of the hunters from previous books. Fun ensues! Sassy Peterson has been under her mother's thumb for years. Her brother was always distant, but now deceased she is the person who inherited his estate. Off to settle that Estate in Hannah she finds her self up the creek. WOW! Humorous paranormal perfection. I love when books are not your typical story. Fairies, demons, demon hunters, witches, and what I think could only be classified as an ogre. I loved reading about the town of Hannah and its inhabitants. Sassy is a southern belle who has been left her brother's estate upon his passing. This sort of bothers her because her brother never wanted contact with her while growing up. She ends up on a back road, swerving to miss a demonic looking deer, and winds up su

Oh my goodness! This book was so fairy great!!! Sassy is a rich girl that has spent most of her life pleasing her mother and other people always so full of happiness and joy. I LOVE this book!!! This book is chock full of giggle-snorting fun! This is a hilarious check your brain at the door type of series and Demon Hunting With a Dixie Deb may just be the best installment yet. And though it is part of a series this book can be read standalone (although I predict a binge reading of the back list right after). If you like your southern fried humor sexy silly and sassy you can’t go wrong with this series or this book.

Lexi grew up in South Alabama in a rural community with one flashing light and a small country store that sold everything from gas to pickled eggs. Her father, a circuit judge, collected clocks — chiming clocks that binged and banged all night long in rhythm with the trains that chugged and wailed down the railroad track not a hundred yards from Lexi’s girlhood home. Needless to say, Lexi is a ver
