I liked the story line. The characters are easy to love or hate. The main couple, Jen and Derek show exactly how an abusive relationship can destroy one person while elevating the other to an almost omnipotent state. The abused believing the abuser can see everything they do and hear everything they say. Not only is the abused person hurt, but everyone in the family suffers. Children learn behaviors that the parents exhibit.

The plot line was a good one, though the end felt quite rushed, jumping
