Declan and Callie .. ♥
"This is all very sexy," I reply truthfully.
"Wait till you see me in a tool belt, darlin'"
I. Can't. Even.
"You don't wear underwear either?"
I look up at him through my lashes
and send him a coy grin. "Either."
I'm done for. HONESTLY I AM. Could this novel be any more PERFECT? For starters .. like the novels prior, the series is focused in none other than New Orleans. My h ...more

Callie Mills left New Orleans fifteen years ago and never thought there would be a day when she returned. But when her father dies she has to come to settle his affairs, only to learn that he left her his bar. The bar she hated for taking her dad away from her and dropping him in a bottle of alcoholism. Her plan to sell it fast and leave again has to be changed when she learns that the bar won't sell easily. Finally ...more
After losing her job and boyfriend in the same day, Callie moves back to New Orleans, to take over her late father’s bar. There she meets her “brother” friend, a musician named Declan and both of them are immediately taken aback with each other.
Declan wasn’t looking for anything serious. Callie wasn’t looking for anything at all. But sometimes the best things are the unexpected ones.
This was a sweet and sexy romance book, but in no way my Kristen Proby favorite. It was enterta ...more
1 What happened?? stars
I adored the first two books in this series and I was so excited to read sexy musician Declan’s book. Sadly this book did not live up to my expectations.
The editing was really bad, making it difficult to determine time lapses and everything about this romance felt rushed and poorly done. We go from Callie disliking Declan in the first few pages, then suddenly agreeing to a date when he tells her he’s taking her out, them having a good time, intera...more

I can't seem to get enough of the Boudreaux family. Easy Melody was again a very easy story to listen to. Declan has been on my mind for a while and I am not surprised that his love interest was going to be strong, independent and very sexy in an original and quirky way.
Easy Melody was very sexy, low on angst and high on family connections. It was very easy to listen to the story and again I think the narrators do a fabulous job. The characters came alive for me and I real ...more
Honestly, I don't even know why I keep reading this series. Ah yeah, only because I want to read Ben and Van's story.
Other than that, this one was terrible! The insta-love was just ridiculous. (view spoiler)[They kissed in the first chapter, have sex in the third one and I wasn't even halfway through the book that they already found out they were in love with each other. (hide spoiler)] Seriously? Where's the build up?!
I really though this was going to be Ben and Van's story. Gah! ...more
4 “bossy” “little things” “I’ve adjusted my sails” Kisses
It’s official – I’m moving to New Orleans! I cannot stand being separated from the Boudreaux family any longer. With each and every book in the Boudreaux Series I fall more and more in love with these characters…Eli made me drool in Easy Love …Rhys made me swoon in Easy Charm and Declan just rocked my face off. Each book is based off of a different set of couples, so they can technically be rea ...more
I need to start by saying that I love the Boudreaux family! This book is the story of Declan Boudreaux, the youngest male sibling.
Declan is a musician, a man who followed his heart and took to the stage while staying local to his family and roots in New Orleans.
Callie Mills is the new owner of one of Declan’s favorite hangouts the Odyssey. Callie became the new owner when her father passed away; the story surrounding Callie and her father pulled at ...more
I enjoyed reading Declan and Callie's story so very much. It's a very sweet low angst romance. They are both very good characters and good together. Declan is a musician that performs in local bars around New Orleans. He's been pretty much a playe ...more
Easy Melody is a story that takes us back to New Orleans and this sexy family and a sizzling story where music is the heart....
I truly had a blast with Easy Melody and it was a bit different than the previous books which I really had a blast with. I truly liked how compatible these key players are with each other so without further ado...let's talk!!
Callie Mills, our lovely heroine, has just lost her father and has come from Washington ...more
This is book 3 in her Boudreaux series...following those New Orlean's siblings. This is Declan's story. He is the sweet, single musical genius. The notorious ladies man can drop the panties with his rhythm and smooth sound. He has embraced his reputation and is unprepared for his new found want and need for the new manager of Odyssey...Callie.
Now and then i do like easy romance reading. Low angst, low drama, a lot of insta love. When i found this series from miss Proby it does look promising. I like 2 of other books in the series. But easy melody just fail to attract me.
Everything in this book is like a chocolate cake gone wrong. So wrong that i just want to throw it on garbage and forget about it.
The characters are just wrong and not consistence. The story does not support/ enhance the romance of the characters. So so confusin ...more
3.5 predictably sweet, sexy and romantic stars
The third book of the Boudreaux series brings us the story of Declan and Callie, and it’s trademark
Kristen Proby all the way. Sweet, sexy, funny, and gorgeously romantic with fantastic family and friend dynamics, it’s comfort food in book form, and I really enjoyed it.

Declan is part of the Boudreaux siblings and ready to settle down. He is a musician so has had plenty of willing women in his bed but the one he has his eyes on now may take a little bit more effort to impress.
Callie has seen the way Declan works when it comes to girls and she is definitely a commitment girl. Sure he is cute but if he wants her he has to go all in, exclusivity is a non-negotiable.
It turns out that these two have way more in common than the ...more
My goodness though. The tension and just the drama. Oh my it gets to me. I just want them to kiss and make up. But honestly, the make up sex is hot. Like. How do writers write these scenes??

I added the wispersync audible narration to this Kindle book. There were two different narrators for this book. One for Callie's POV and another for Declan's POV. They both did a good job. ...more
This was a pretty good story. I liked Callie and Declan and enjoyed seeing them get together.
Callie is a bright woman that works managing a bar and flipping houses (buying old houses in bad shape and renovating them and selling them for a profit). Callie's mother died when she was young and she was raised by her father who didn't handle losing his wife well. He basically became a functional alcoholic and Callie grew up taking care of him. She moved away for college and never came back ...more
Declan and Callie's story was hot. They complement each other perfectly. Declan was everything you expected him to be and wore the name Boudreaux well. Callie was sassy and defiantly has the special "something" all Proby heroines possess.
