For 19-year-old Christy Hadden, it’s life as usual as a spy, only this time in Paris, France. Her mission: retrieve a flash drive containing evidence that a high public official is working to destroy Paris. Pretty standard, until someone steals the drive from her. Forced to abandon her position protecting the informant, she goes after the thief, but returns empty handed—on ...more

Fatal Exchange to me was a good read. I liked how the story took place in Paris, the city of love.

I am always fascinated by spy books and was eager in reading this book just based on the synopsis.

The book follows Christy, a 19 year old spy who is currently working on a case in Paris, in hopes of retrieving a flash drive that contains highly secretive information. The book is written on the whole pickpocket issue in Paris.

I found the book a nice read. I didn't think the plot was out o

Billed as number 3 in a series you don't have to have read the other books to enjoy this high octane spy thriller (actually a little digging after reading had me discovering this was book three in the second trilogy about Christy so actually this was book six. I hadn't read any of them but Hogan is adept at bringing readers up to speed in a sentence or two without dragging the reader away from the action or inserting too many details a previous reader would be bored of hearing again and again - ...more
Christy is a 19-year-old spy who is currently working in France. Her mission seems simple enough and all is going well until it all of a sudden isn't. She soon finds herself on her own and posing as Eva in a pickpocket ring to try to recover what was stolen from her. There's danger involved and what she uncovers could put her life in danger but she's determined to be successful.

I felt like Christy wasn't in as much physical danger in this book as she was in the previous two books and I liked tha

This book is a non-stop ride of action and suspense with tons of thrills. I read this in about a 24 hour period and could not wait to see what would happen next and how Christy was going to fix what happened on her failed mission. Cindy has a talent in how she writes this series (and all of her books:) At times I didn't know who to trust, especially when it came to Division. Christy has a talent of thinking on her feet and with her heart, and sometimes that gets her in more trouble, as she tries ...more

Christy Hadden is an extremely talented spy, and at 19 she has to be good. There are people that would love to see her fail and she needs to prove that she is very capable of her job. Christy is on assignment in Paris, and her next mission seems easy enough-grab a flash drive with damaging information on a high ranking public official and keeps the informant safe. However, things go from bad to worse after Christy grabbed the flash drive. Before she can even react the flash drive is taken from h ...more

Christy is one of my very favorite characters right now. I love the way she is so young, but she's amazingly good at almost everything, and she's made a name out there for herself as a spy. In this book she's in France when something goes horribly wrong with her current mission. The drive she's supposed to pick up is taken by the notorious pick pockets of Paris and the man she's supposed to pick it up from is killed. Things go from bad to worse when Christy is banished by the French Division dir ...more

This book had so many elements that I just love. I was really looking forward to reading this book and it definitely did not disappoint.

Fatal Exchange is the third book in this Christy series. Christy is a spy and a good one at that. I love her spy team because they are so fiercely loyal to each other. They are friends and they look out for each other one hundred percent.

The pacing of this book is fantastic. It was fast and I felt like I was on a fantastic ride where I hold on for dear life with

This book is excellent. Filled with intrigue, action, mystery... It is fast-paced, mature, engaging. It caught my attention and I had a hard time putting it down. This is the third book in the series and I was at a disadvantage, having not read any of the others, but I was able to follow along, despite not knowing anything about the characters. Reminiscent in style to Sheralyn Pratt's books (one of my favourite authors), I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would definitely read more by this aut ...more

Fatal Exchange was one of the books I chose to take with me to read during a long flight overseas. It was a great choice because not only did it keep me entertained but it also made the flight seem much shorter than the 8 hours it took. I received a free copy of Fatal Exchange in exchange for an honest review. It is the third installment in the Christy series about a teenage undercover agent. In Fatal Exchange, she is stationed in Paris where she is working with her team to retrieve a flash driv ...more

Received in exchange for a honest review. I came into this series with this book and didn’t feel lost. Where you needed background Ms. Hogan provided it for you. I will say I am anxious to read the ones preceding this book. This tale gripped me. I didn’t know to the end why the information was worth killing someone for and who the bad guy was. When you meet Kamal you think aha he’s bad but than that is blurred and you see him as a guy in a tough situation doing what he needs to for the one he lo

This was another fast paced, action packed book in the Christy Spy Series. I had read Hotwire, so was anxious to read this one, as well. It certainly did not disappoint!

The main character in this book is a young woman by the name of Christy Hadden. She isn't just any young woman, though, she is a talented spy. She's been through a lot to get where she is today, and it has made her strong and tough. Still, she shows her youth with an impulsive nature, that tends to get her in a good bit of hot wa

Christy is a 19 year-old spy for Division. She is on assignment in Paris, France when the unthinkable happens. She loses evidence and the man she is sent to protect is murdered. Now on leave, she takes it upon herself to infiltrate the gang of pickpockets that stole her thumb drive. The stakes are raised when it is revealed that a high up political figure is after the thumb drive too, and will murder to get it.

My Thoughts-
Wow, this book starts with action and then just keeps going. I enjoyed eve

So in this book we continue on the journey of 19 year-old Christy as she goes on a new mission to Paris, France. She meets many dilemmas and is forced to think quick on her feet and try to help save the people around her and potentially Paris itself.

I actually really enjoyed this book. I thought it moved along well and I thought it was a good plot. I never have really talked about the pickpocketers in Paris. I mean we all know that Paris has a lot of them, but I gained a different perspective o
I loved this! It's a fast-paced, enthralling read that kept me interested from the beginning to the end.

Although this is the third in the series and I haven't read the previous books, Hogan does an amazing job of giving pertinent information throughout it to allow the reader to understand people and past events without overloading the reader. I'm definitely interested in reading the previous books in this series now simply so I can see Christy's origin and the journey she took before arriving i

Fatal Exchange is a fast-paced spy thriller and I enjoyed every minute of it, even though it stressed me out. This is another addition in the Christy series and I don't think they necessarily need to be read in order, but the reader will enjoy them much more if they are. The Watched trilogy introduces us to Christy and how she becomes a spy and the Christy stories expound on her experiences. Each novel focuses on a mission.

Christy finds herself in Paris in this book. I'm always amazed that she'

This is the second novel I’ve read by Cindy M. Hogan and I had this book on my TBR list before I ever read anything by this author. This particular story, Fatal Exchange, caught my attention because it is about a teenage spy named Christy and although this book is the third in the series and I hadn’t read the first two, I was still looking forward to jumping right in (technically it would be book #6 since The Watched trilogy is Christy’s story before this series begins). This book is number 3 in the Christy Spy Novel series and was released back in September of this year. I haven’t read the other 2 books, but I didn’t feel behind or confused. I probably would have had a better understanding of the character developments and relationships, but they can still be read as stand alone books.

At first I was worried since the main character is 19 years old, that this would be more for high school level reading or maturity; but I was wrong!

The story was very fast paced w

I was excited to read the next Christy book. This is the third book in the Christy series. But before that Christy was in three Watched series. So her character is well built, but she is always learning changing and saving people.
It is full of drama, action, zest and danger in a high energy novel plus a clean read.. I hated to put the book down.

This is the third book in the Christy series. Chrsity is a teenage spy who is learning to hold her own in a world that most people are unaware exsists.

Christy and her team are given a simple job--retrieve a flash drive from a gentleman that does not wish to be involved. In other words, make it look like he was a victim of a pickpocket. Simple and easy. Christy is going to met the man on the metro, discreetly take the flash drive from his pocket and make sure the gentleman gets off at his stop i

This book is part of a series, yet you can easily pick up on who everyone is, and follow along.
This story is about Christy Hadden, a prodigy spy of only 19. She is very skilled at being a spy, and a real asset to the team, until she messes up this mission.
I found this book to be very gripping at times, thinking now it was going to happen, you are going to find out where all this is leading, to feel the build up to fall short. Hence this book

The third book in the series is as heart pounding and intense as the first two. This time Christy and her team work out of Paris, and the seamy side of the city- pickpockets, murder, and dirty politics-in the french office of their company. Trust and support of Christy and the team are not given freely as they had been in other books, therefore much of the time Christy works on her own-completely unsupported or backed up in any way. When the French division leader finally accepts Christy's plan, ...more

When I started reading Fatal Exchange I didn’t realize that it was the third book in a series. It could be a stand-alone book, but I think probably reading the first two would give more background into some of the characters. The book just started and didn’t really explain who Christy was, so I had to pick up pieces as I went. Because of that I think that is why it took me a while to get into this book. But once I got into the story and got to know the characters better I enjoyed reading it. I d ...more

She resolved the conflict by pretending to be one of the street thieves and tracked down the drive through the thieves. I liked this book. A fun, easy read. Her books are fun to read. Easy, clean, and pretty suspenseful. This one was about Christy Hadden-an agent with the FBI-I think-who is working undercover in France when her mission goes wrong. She goes a bit rogue and it's about her journey to eight the wrongs that were committed while trying to figure out how to be with her handler-Jeremy. Good easy fast read.
