Ragnhild Marie Hatton was an historian who specialized in seventeenth and eighteenth century Europe. After moving to London from Norway she taught at the London School of Economics from 1949 until her retirement.

DNF at page 101.

This book is supposedly about Louis XIV, but what I actually read had basically nothing to do with Louis XIV.

The format of this book, with multiple different essays by different authors, gives this book an uneven flow which makes it quite difficult to fully get into.
