I really liked the story... the descriptions about the creation of the world and how it all came to be were fascinating... I really liked the main character, Milcah, and her guardian, Jarod-- let me just say he's yummy.

This is the first in a series, and it does end leaving you wanting more--as any good book should... I cannot wait to read the next one.

Milcah was an only child and grew up with only one parent, her mother, she never met her father. Milcah never had nice clothes or toys like the other children in her school. Her mother did her best to take care of Micah but they were never close but she still loved her mother. Milcah wanted more in her life. She wanted the same things as all of the other girls like pretty dresses, shoes and coats. All of the other kids pick

I Recieved this ARC for a review for Evermorebooks

This story picked up where Stone Guardian left off. It had Michael captive in one of the stud stables for the witches. This is where he gets put in the penthouse and meets Marcus who’s been there since birth. Their relationship builds through the story, as they escape from one place to another. I like that Marcus decides he doesn’t want to be helpless and co-dependant on Michael.

When they finally reach back to Michael’s homeland. Michael being th

It's no secret that I love paranormal romance. The steamier, the better. This story is loaded with all of the things I like best: Witches, gargoyles, curses, love mates, and STEAMING hot sex! The narrator did great with most of the characters, adding effects and things, but I didn't like his young, female voice. I won this audiobook in a Facebook contest, and this is my honest review

As this authors debut book, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I enjoyed the story's complexity and the way it set us up for more books. I can see this series becoming excellent as it progresses. The only draw back is I wish there was more.

This is actually the first book I've read about gargoyles, so yay for new things! I have kind of thing for gargoyles since the cartoon. Goliath was my first crush, I admit it. This book flowed very well, and kept me hooked from the beginning to end! I loved the lore, and how it was always simmering and peeking out through the background, a real part of the story without overpowering it. The characters were fun, and I love the little twists thrown in here and there.

It was a pretty quick read, an

Milcah has dreamt of stone statues, gargoyles, all her life. They were not scary, though, and she found comfort in the local graveyard, amoung the statues. When the trip to the Grand Canyon takes a turn for the unexpected, Milcah has to choose : stay, and run away and pretend it never happened.

Jared is the general of the gargoyle army, frozen in time for 700 years. When Milcah releases him and his army from the witches curse, his dreams

RATING: 4.5 STARS

I LOVED this book, when you get into the paranormal romance genre it gets tricky trying not to just repeat a story already written because of how popular it is becoming. I didn't have to worry about that at all with this book and I really, really just can't tell you how much I liked that.

This is the story of a woman named Milcah, who grew up sheltered with her mom constantly on the move. All her life she has been told never to take the amulet her mother gave her off, not knowing

Excellent Storytelling!

The world building is what sets this read apart, and also what drew me in. The author definitely had her concept down before she typed the first word. Even as the story morphs between past and present, and through portals, the world building stays intact and is seamless.

In present-day, we meet Milcah, who hates everything about her life. She’s poor, lives in a rundown apartment, works a low-paying job, considers herself unattractive, and is alone. The woman Milcah believed

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This was a pretty interesting story. It’s full of great detail and interesting story telling. Most of the story is told in a young adult fashion but there is one scene that is pretty explicit so I would definitely say this would be an 18 year old and up read. I enjoy adult and young adult books so I enjoyed the story but for those looking for more explicit storylines

This is such a unique story!

There were gargoyles, witches, shifters, vampires, and more. In this story, the author told the story of how each of these supernatural being came to be. She did this by explaining the history of the world without it taking up a lot of the main story. The backstory for this was totally different from anything I ever heard before and completely interesting.

The author quickly went through hundreds of years of the history of the earth to bring us to present day.

I don’t

Let me start out by saying that Stone Guardian has an interesting storyline. I feel that this is a good first attempt for Paulina’s writing career. In my opinion the story needs more depth and at times it feels as if one idea is not complete before the next starts. It does not always flow well and seems a bit choppy at times. I do love the gargoyles and their world. I think that Pauline did a great job on the setting and characters. I could just imagine being there in their world.

Milcah has always felt lonely and only had one friend Mary. Mary convinces her to take a mini vacation and that is when she finds sexy gargoyle Jarod. What other secrets and discoveries will she make?

This is such an amazing debut book! The backstory for how all of the different creatures and humans is just wonderful. Milcah is such a strong character and you just want to see her find happiness and all the answers to all the secrets in her life. I really enjoyed Jarod too , I believe he will fina

First off, I really enjoyed the beginning where the author basically gives a synopsis of the series 'world', and how it became to be. A fascinating mix of mythological characters is going to make for a great series!

This story mainly focused on Milcah (a lady) and her guardian gargoyle Jarod. A very interesting way that Micah unlocked the secrets of the past in her mind and got into the storyline.

If anyone knows me, they will know one of my favorite creatures are gargoyles, so this was great!

This book was given to me for an honest review from the author. It was a wonderful story and I'm really looking forward to the next one. The only complaint I had was she used the main character's name a little to often. I loved how the author showed what happened previously so you had that background about the fae and how the witches went bad. This book took you through from beginning to the cliffhanger ending. You learn about Milcah one of the 5 girls who can either save or destroy the world an ...more

I was given this ARC for an honest review.

Jarod is a general of a force of warriors known as the guardians. After being betrayed by one of his own he and his warriors spend centuries as stone. Micah is a witch unaware of her past or destiny. Together they find their home, together they begin the prophecy.

Oh Wow. Stone Guardians has a gentle beginning but explosive Chapter One. I was hooked from the beginning. The story flows well and the characters have great chemistry. I want Jarods house and

Kidnapped when she was young, Milcah goes through life not knowing who or what she is. She meets the handsome Jared, who immediately knows she's the woman he's been waiting for. With the patience of a Saint, Jared waits for Milcah to figure that out too. I'm not going to tell if she she does or not, you have to read the story to find out. Descriptions are vividly portrayed and unique, and friendship plays a big part in this story. While ther

This was a very interesting read that take she completely into another round of existence it allows you to lose yourself from reality and enter into another world however I find the book to be too short I would like to read more of the story be more in depth with the characters and be able to feel more of the emotions that the characters felt however this book is still worth a read and I can't wait for Brooke to to come out to see what happens next in the series I truly enjoyed reading this nove ...more

I was given a copy for an honest review. I found this to be such an interesting paranormal book. The debut book includes many of my favorites including gargoyles, vampires, witches, shifters, mermaids, and witches. I loved how the author explained how these beings were created.

I quite liked the storyline, I adore gargoyles and to be honest they're is a person of color on the damn cover. it was fast paced in a bit of a bad way, jumped between situations and ideas suddenly. I also felt like the entire intro could have been stretched for a few chapters...it was so epic and explained away too simply, I want more details from this story bottom line, it just left the story at a bit of a disconnect with me. I'd love to read more.

Extraordinary mix of paranormal and mythical characters!

Life is what you make it and nothing more. This is something I had to come to terms with as I struggled to find my place in this world.

I was born with a learning disability and no one could understand me but my older brother until I was almost eight years old. I was told my multiple teachers and school councilors that I was not going to graduate high school unless I went into a special program. In
