Mitch:
They call me "The Wrecker". And not just for the bodies that I'm wrecking on the football field, but for p***y that I wreck in the bedroom.

It wasn't always this way. A little more than 2 years ago, I was just your average guy but then I got into fatal car accident with a drunk driver. The doctors had pronounced me dead, but just as I was walking towards the white light, I was offered a deal by The Devil himself. He'd let me live and make all my wildest dreams come true.

The one caveat? I could never love again. I'd have to break the heart of every single girl that would ever fall for me.

It sounded easy enough at the time. But then Annie grew up, and damn... she's perfect.

Annie:
My stepbrother has changed.

When he got out of the hospital, he got ripped–I mean really ripped. Now he's grown cocky, arrogant, and he has all these new tattoos. I never noticed him before, but he's shaped into the hottest guy I've ever seen. It's too bad he treats every woman like they're just a piece of meat.

He's the star running back at UCLA, and he'll probably make it to to the NFL next year. He's that good.

I hate that he's my stepbrother, but worst of all... I think I'm falling for him.

Coulda been a 5 but...

I have to say that I was very interested in starting this book. The premise seemed unique. I love the characters and I'm partial to step-brother romances.

So why not a five star review? Too many continuity & editing errors. Principle where it should be principal. Lions when it should be loins. Missing words. And my biggest pet peeve of all, misplaced names. The H's name is Mitch yet he was called Alex a few times. The mom's name is Kim yet all of a sudden she's Martha.

Overall the story was good but really needed an editor.

Loved the new take on stepbrother romances--still hot!

New author Aubrey Sage scores a hit with her fresh take on stepbrother romances--and it's hot!

I love it when story lines surprise me, especially when it's well written. I had no idea where Devil was going at times or even what category it fits into, and that threw off my expectations, making the book all the more enjoyable.

And Mitch--whew! "The Wrecker" takes Alpha attitude and a-hole behavior to a new level. But he has reasons. Big ones. This is one stepbrother that didn't start out like that, but he picks up those dominant moves fast and gets what he wants.

I hope the author is writing more books. I got a free copy of Devil in return for a forthright review, and I'd love to read more.

Great book

I was given this book to give a honest review and all I can say is I love it. It's a great read and I love how it starts as well as it ends. I have read other stepbrother stories and this one is the best so far.

Mitch is a great person the things he does during the book is wrong but he did get a second chance at life. When he finally figures out that he wants Annie and that he will have to hurt his family to be able to be with free. End the end he gets Annie as well has his freedom and a few bonus along the way.

This is a wonderful book, the writer did a great job. Can't wait to read another from her.

This story was a stepbrother romance with an interesting twist, but the issue I had with the book was that it was not your typical stepbrother romance where the h and H are not raised together but rather meet as adults. No, these two were raised together since they were 3 and 5. That raised the ick factor for me too high to enjoy the story.

Stepbrother novels are starting to all blend together!

This is not one of the more generic stepbrother romance, but it is one that made me cringe more than most. This was skirting the edge of something creepy because they were brother/sister-like their entire lives. Generally I read these book and roll my eyes with a "what's the fuss" chant in the back of my brain. Nope.. Not in this one.

Gavin is a raunchy bad boy who uses women like they are cups of coffee. He bailed out on home life after a personal tragedy turned opportunity and he is the definition of carefree rich guy. He's looking at a chance at NFL, that is his only acceptable future.

Why?

The devil makes him do it. Really, that isn't a phrase.

But when Gavin sees his little sister has grown into one hot babe he is obsessed by her and football is an afterthought. The thing is he can't have her and not because it's squicky to lust for your sister, but because the Devil made a deal with him to break every heart that falls for him and he can't break Annie's.

A warning there is some really nasty things he does, one of which is an incident of dubcon with a fresh faced teen. He also watches his sister on video while she is in his house--although it wasn't a plan to catch her like that. Gavin's really a bad guy. But the point is his redemption. Annie's character goal is to become something on her own. The development of the characters was the only thing that kept me reading because Gavin was a total turn off.

Aubrey Sage .. YOU DID IT!!!

Well where do I start... Thank you Aubrey for the chance you gave me of receiving a copy for a review.

When I read the blurb I was afraid that I wasnt going to like the ending. Well I loved it. Mitch redeemed himself !! I wonder if the devil actually came to him. Grant was behind the bad things that happened at some times. WoW The things that some people will do for envy and jealousy.

I love that Mitch finally realized that family and faith came before money and fame.

I really enjoyed her take on step sibling romance and it was different from most, it didnt focus on lust and sex but focused on feelings and actions.

I cant wait to see more from Aubrey

This book was awesome. Loved that this book was so different from other romance books. The point of view from the Wrecker and Annie was a nice touch. Loved reading the H rising above the deal from the devil. Good read

Wow!!!

Wow, just wow! This is a really good story. It is not just a stepbrother romance, but a good verses evil story. There is nothing like a little supernatural event to cause a monumental life change. Moral of the story, do not make a deal with the devil.

Loved this book!

Well now

The bad: Edit. Edit. Spellchecker. Grammar checker.

The good. Not your typical romance. Sex. Family. Death. Deals with the Devil. Finding the light. Having Faith. Best....living happily ever after.

Five plus stars most definitely.

Started off really well. Liked how it went back in time to understand how he made the deal and why.

But coming towards the end it wasn't as good as it could of been. The build up and story was brillaint but didn't like the ending which is why I rate this a 3 star

This was a really quirky but cute story. It was also a whole lot of evil. Talking about having a little devil inside.

Not my thing. It was an okay story for me. I really didn't follow it. I had to put it down and come back to it a few days later. I felt lost several times as well.
