Set in the stunning landscape of Israel, we follow Tilly Walker’s story as she attempts to deal with the fallout of a recent dramatic, and traumatic, event. Written in third person, we see things from both Tilly and Nate’s, a mysterious acquaintance, POV. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to others!

It has everything a reader could wish for in a book. I had a good feeling about it when I first laid my eyes on the cover and I must say I am not at all disappointed! A very good romance. Tilly was working as a nanny in England when she gets caught up in a scandal with the father of her charges. It doesn't matter if she was guilt or not, because the press has gotten a hold of the story and she has no chance to explain. Overwhelmed she decides to flee to her Aunt who lives in Israel. Almost right away she meets Nate but is he what he seems? He is actually a journalist assigned to get Tilly's story and he becomes determined to set the record straight. The more ...more

Falling for Mr. Wrong by Joanne DannonFrom the moment she sets eyes on hunky Englishman Nate Morgan-Young, nanny Tilly Walker wonders 'what if?'. But keeping a low profile after a devastating scandal in the UK means Tilly can't afford to be recognised by anyone, least of all by a drop-dead gorgeous London-based writer. Little does she know that Nate has his eyes set on Tilly - but for all the wrong reasons. As the tension builds in this unexpectedly exotic location, their relationship hots up. But can Tilly really trust Nate? Autho ...more

Tilly Walker flees from London after a scandal involving a politician she was a nanny for. She needs to hide out and so heads to Israel. Have to point out here that it was a wonderful this author putting this setting because you truly want to visit after reading about it. Back to the story , She goes to her aunt and figures she can stay under cover for a while. Sounds like a plan but Political journalist Nathaniel Morgan Young is determined to find her as he wants to bring down this politician. ...more

I cannot abide a book in which the heroine is an idiot. Tilly is too stupid for words. The man says he's a published writer, but does she look him up? No. She continually makes poor decisions on the fly and for no other reason than because someone said something she did not like.

Regardless of how pretty Tilly's supposed to be, Nate is stupid, too, for putting up with her idiocy. Other than that, he's not a bad guy despite his goal to use her story to get revenge upon our long distance villai

'Falling for Mr Wrong' by Joanne Dannon is my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the setting as I have never read one in this exotic location before, the gorgeous description makes one want to jump on a plane and see it in reality.

The car scene in which Ilan drives Tilly and Nate to Jerusalem is so funny, I laughed so hard I had tears running down my cheeks. Of course, it also had a few emotional bits and some naughtiness which is expected in a romance and it goes witho

It is a 4.5

An exotic location: check
A handsome hero: check
A damsel in distress: check
unintended betrayal: check

All the right ingredients for a romance to sell.

What stands out is the story in itself with all the self doubt and self incrimination and dreams for a future that becomes a barrier to the other's dream for the future.

How Tilly and Nate make their way, helped by the positive vibes coming from all the historical/religious places they visit, makes the characters shine further.

A must read,

I think this is a pretty good story. Nate is a decent guy even though he's being deceitful with Tilly, he's seeking revenge. Their physical attraction/chemistry is HOT!! Tilly just seems a bit out of his league & at times too stubborn. It would've been nice to read exactly how Nate avenged though since that plot is what threw the couple together. :) Nate's determination to have/help Tilly pretty much carries this story to its happy end.

This is an easy read for an afternoon when you should probably be doing housework or some other task you're avoiding! I liked that the story was set in Israel, which is a nice change from the usual romantic settings. I thought Tilly was a bit naive to think she could outrun the media so easily and she eventually worked that out for herself. She didn't cave in and automatically go along with the hero's choices and I REALLY liked that!

I have not read a romance novel in years, but I read this book in one sitting. The plot was strong and the conflict realistic. The characters were well developed and consistent. One minus is the need for a professional copy edit. My main problem with the book was the over-graphical description of the sex scenes. If this is typical of modern romance novels, I will not be reading another one.

A dreamy British journalist and a cute but naïve ex-nanny collide in this emotional story filled with passion, conflict and scandal. The hot, exotic setting adds to the blazing sensuality of the story. Dannon has a wonderful way with words and offers a hero and a heroine to fall in love with. If you enjoy contemporary romance with a slice of sexy, don’t miss Falling for Mr Wrong.
