Mixture of different views on gender-related subjects, such as the connection between hormone environments and gender-related behavior, an evolutionary perspective on gender differences and similarities, psychoanalytic theories of gender, and sex changes. I may not agree with every chapter's perspective, but being in total agreement is (as explicitly stated in the intro) not the aim of the book.
