Compromising Her Position is book one in the series, Compromise Me, by Samanthe Beck. This is my first book by her and I loved it. This is the story of how mistaken identity forever changed two lives.

Chelsea Wayne is the assistant manager of Las Ventanas, Southern California’s premier coastal resort. It is located in the town of Montenido. Chelsea grew up here, grew up in and around the resort actually. She’d been dating the manager of the resort, Paul for several months. But he’d been distant

It all started with a mistake in identity. Chelsea asked her boyfriend to wear a Santa suit to the company party. When Santa comes around the corner Chelsea tackles him into the linen closet and things get steamy hot. Later when she sees her boyfriend walk in with Santa she knows she made a huge mistake.
When Chelsea goes to tell her boyfriend about her mistake he shocks her by telling her he wants to break up with her and has been cheating on her with another employee. Matter of fac

I think with any book there is a fine line in making sure you balance the story with the sexual encounters. That line is even more important when we are talking about an author of Samanthe Beck's calibre.

"I know what you need, and I'll satisfy you until you're hoarse with gratitude."

There are going to be readers that may have an issue with the way this book started, I wont post a spoiler, as the synopsis pretty much sums up Chelsea and Rafe's initial meeting. To be hone

I'm in LOVE with Rafe St. Sebastian!!!!

Rafe St. Sebastian - the name alone is HOT!!!

When Chelsea Wayne, the Assistant Manager of a beach resort, dragged Santa into the supply closet during a office holiday party, she had no idea Santa wasn't really who she thought he was. After a very satisfying tryst Chelsea and Santa went their separate ways, until a very public unveiling of Santa and the future acquisition of the hotel by St. Sebastian Luxury Resorts.

Who thought the first sex scene in this book was okay to publish? It was extremely problematic and raised issues about the definition of consent. While Rafe knew exactly who Chelsea was, she had absolutely NO idea that she was having sex with him. Never once did he even bother telling her that he wasn't who she thought it was. That is NOT okay. Chelsea should have been given the CHOICE to go on with the sex or stop their activities but she was never allowed to make the decision for herself.

This is a first Samanthe read for me and I’m not sure why. I have her other books but haven’t gotten to them yet, wut?!! I’ll say it off the bat, if all my Entangled Brazen reads are like hers (or Tessa’s, as in Tessa Bailey), you can sign me up ALL the time!

While this started out weird, as in “you seriously were not able to tell that wasn’t your boyfriend question mark times 2” type of weird, the story and the writin

A fun sexy read!!!! Compromising Her Position by Samanthe Beck was a book brimming with sexual tension, playful banter and steam. In this quick fast read, Ms. Beck lures her readers in the case of mistaken identity. When Chelsea Wayne accidentally drags Santa into a supply closet during a holiday office party, she was expecting it to be her boyfriend dressed as Santa but it turns out to be her new boss. So when Chelsea finally realize

I wasn't sure what I felt about this one up til around the 60% mark, but I think that was more to do with me being distracted than the actual book. Because I did enjoy all of it.

I've always been a fan of Samanthe Beck's work. Her writing style has grabbed and she's consistently brought her readers engaging, entertaining, sexy romances with great couples. So it's fair to say I had high expectations for Compromising Her Position.

Some days I love to snuggle in with a great billionaire romance novel. They are a fun trend that allows us to dream of hot, sexy guys and forget all of our troubles. This book is set in a lovely resort location and offers a great way to get away from it all and put ourselves in someone elses shoes for a bit.

This story starts out with a bang with Hot Santa that turns quickly into crazy mess for Chelsea the one time she tries to embrace her naughty side. The up and coming executive ends up quittin
I'm going to start this review off to say that I respectfully disagree and am confused by previous reviewers' impressions of this book. There seem to be 2 issues they have and their comments would have easily swayed me from buying this book if I had not received it as an ARC from the publisher.

It all starts with a horrible accident! Wait what?! A horrible mix up!

Chelsea is at the Christmas party of the company she works for. She is having a great time and she’s even more excited when Santa comes in. She knows it’s her boyfriend since she’s the one who bought the costume for him and after the super busy month they have had, worried for their project, Chelsea decides to give him a present, herself. So she takes Santa into the closet and has her wicked way with him.

Samanthe Beck’s McCade Brothers series is one of my favourites from the Entangled Brazen line, complete with alpha male dirty talkers and feisty and fun females. Whenever I see that she has a new release, I’m on it like white on rice. This particular story has an almost vacation fling feel to it, and since that seems to be my catnip these days, I had high expectations for this story.

Up-market holiday resort assistant manager, Chelsea Wayne, is sick of being good, and is turned on by the fact that her current squeeze, the resort manager, Paul, has agreed to dress up as Santa for the office party. With it in full swing, she sees him enter her line of fire, and impulsively drags him into the nearest supply closet for a closer look at what he has hiding in his sack.

Once again Samanthe Beck has captured my heart with a sexy, fun-filled, romantic story that I loved. Rafe is charming and smart and not afraid to go after what he wants. Chelsea is equally smart, loyal, and ready to embrace her naughty side. Their banter and chemistry had me sighing and smiling and rooting for them. I always have the best time reading a Samanthe Beck book, and I admire her way with words so very much. She brings you into the story so you feel like you're right there, and that is ...more

I absolutely loved this book, especially the beginning was too good, after that I simply couldn't put it down. I loved Chelsea and Rafe and their encounters are always so funny and romantic. This is one of the best romance novels I've read in a while and in addition to that story is passionate as well as humorous. It's a perfect package. If you are looking for romantic comedy with lots of chemistry then this one is definitely a good read. ...more

The summary for this book is spot on and if you have read any of Beck's books before you know it's all hotness, all the time. Basically, Chelsea has been having problems with her boyfriend but she decides to pull him into the closet for a hookup at her office party. The beginning was quite the scorcher and definitely a fan-worthy moment. The rest of the story flowed very well and I really enjoyed it overall. You're dealing your typical couple of characters who want some fun times and no commitment. This kind of thing is always fun to read every now and then. Beck did a good job with it. Rafe is a rich, successful playboy and Chelsea is coming off of a craptastic relationship. Their banter was cute and flirty, and when they hit the sack, they hit it hard and ...more

Compromising Her Position turned out to be one of those books that gives you a good, solid story with characters that are likable and relatable, then also throws in a nice dose of steamy scenes and a bit of humor to keep you entertained, engaged...and a under the collar. This is the first time I've read anything by this author, and I'm pleased to say that this story has me adding more of her titles to my TBR list.

Right out of the gate, I knew this book was bound to have fun and sexy humor rolled into a great romance book. I mean, Chelsea got it on with Santa in a supply closet not realizing who "Santa" actually was. That was enough to draw me in completely! :)

Samanthe Beck creates two main characters in this story who managed to sizzle the pages in a read that was laugh out loud funny and full of witty dialogue that continued to entertain this reader from start to finish. It was an absolutely fabulous read! Characters that are sassy, sinfully smexy and scenes that never left this reader disappointed at any stage of the story.

I love this author and her writing style, so I had no doubt that I would love this book. Which I did. I enjoyed the writing, liked the story and characters, but I'm giving this 3 stars because it failed to deliver in originality. It was like I was reading a book I've read a hundred times before.

I liked that the drama wasn't prolonged, and the sexy scenes... out of this world! Samantha Beck truly knows how to write panty-dropping scenes! Loved it!
