There are corpses buried under Ms. Sakurako's feet has a highly amusing main character: a beautiful young lady from a respected old family who is interested in corpses! Well, I'm in.
But as to the rest of the story: the murder mysteries and the supporting characters etc, it's nothing special, so I'm disappointed.
The narrator was annoying, and very young, knew very little to be offering any prospective, but then he was only a high school student. I like Sakurako-san, though so might pick up the second for her.
It's not a typical detective mystery that I thought when I picked up the book. There was no detecting part, only Sakurako go out, find bones and offered her prospective, which is spot on, amidst the whining of the narrator. And whining he did, a lot.
