Dear Professor,

Does it bother you that you’re ten years older than me?
Have you ever thought it’s wrong that you watched me fuck another guy on camera for months?
What do you want from me, really? All I wanted was my letter of recommendation, but now I’m stuck, aren’t I? Stuck under your thumb… And your body.
From cam girl to personal whore, and all by the age of twenty-one.

I didn't like the heroine and just couldn't get into the story.

"Is it wrong that it turns me on? When you call me Professor?"

Darcy is a college student who wants to apply for law school. In order to finish her studies, she's working as a cam girl. She's trying to stay hidden, until, one day, one of the most strict professors in her college, Jordan Keaton, is calling her to discuss, after class.

She needs a recommendation letter by him to get accepted in law school, but it won't come easy. Not when he knows her secre

Darcy is an ambitious college student that has her sights on law school. She's worked hard for years to make it to the top but she still has some fun when she isn't studying so hard. The normal parties you expect to see on a college campus aren't how she has her fun - No, Darcy's fun involves her webcam, lingerie, and money.

Professor Keaton knows he's doing wrong each time he signs into the Dalton Cam Girls site, but he just can't stop himself. And when he comes across the innocent looking girl

From the moment I heard of this book I was all over it. I had all my books read so that I could start it on release day and I jumped right in as soon as I was home from work. Unfortunately this book didn’t hold my interest like I wanted it to and I stopped it multiple times throughout the week to read other books in between.

Darcy is a college student and cam girl, she has aspirations to go to Harvard Law School which is why she cams. Jordan Keaton is rude, tyrant of a professor who blackmails D

How would I describe Dear Professor?
An intoxicating ride of sexy, scandalous, and down right addictive angst. Wholly consuming. And utterly good.

I mean lets be honest, that blurb... it sells the book. If that blurb doesn't scream "READ ME" to you, I don't know what will. This author checked off all my boxes when looking for a read.

She had a sexy cover.
A scrumptiously enticing blurb.
And teasers that had me chomping at the bit to get my hands on the book.

To say I was excited to read would be an

Dear Professor started off on a bum note for me. Heroine is a cam girl, her client she has a crush on/her teacher; types standard uninteresting lines to her like 'Touch yourself', and that's it. Yet she has a crush on him!? Huh?

Anyway, heroine swears every other paragraph. 300+ 'fucks' in the book. Her attitude is stinking. She is supposed to be intelligent but doesn't sound it. Hero is like every other alpha hero & the book is less than average in the writing department.

So yeah. The sw

“He wanted to fuck her. He wanted to abuse her body in the most pleasurable of ways. He wanted to tease her until she came, writhing beneath him. He wanted to own every single inch of her skin, of course. But he didn’t want to hurt her. Physically. Emotionally.”

Dirty. Sexy. Wrong. Forbidden. Messy. Morally F*cked Up. But why couldn't I put this book down? Well, the answer to that is simple. Two Words. Dear Professor.

Professor Jordan Keaton is an asshole.

Let’s just get that out of the way first. He’s an impatient, short-tempered, controlling, obsessive, cold-hearted jerk! He has no redeeming qualities aside from his icy blue eyes, chiselled abs and filthy mouth. He’s wrong in all the right ways.

Darcy Hamilton is a slut.

At least, that’s what she gets paid to be. On her online show. Twice a week. She’s a sarcastic, foul-mouthed,emotionally closed off cam girl with her sights set on an Ivy League law degree. Sh

Overall Opinion: This is going to be hard without going full rant (sorry for my brief cussing too), so bare with me...I was totally disappointed. It had potential, but sadly it didn't deliver. I felt like we just skimmed the surface for the characters where we could've had a better story if we got more background into them. BUT -- The H was a total douche. The h hated him at the beginning, and I hated him throughout. Here are some major spoilers about the H, so please click at your own

This should have been a home run! A student happens to be a cam girl in her spare time to help pay off her student loans and then gets found out by her teacher and then the BANG TIMES commence? SIGN ME UP FOR SOME OF THAT. DESK SEX. OH YAS.

Except, nope! Stupid student couldn't get her head out of her own ass and DOUCHFACE teacher banged some other chick when he had a case of THE FEELS and all of a sudden couldn't keep his dick in his pants. GO FU

DNF at 48% - I gave it a good go but to be honest this felt like a mash up of several books that I have read, it lacked originality and I couldn't connect with either character or the writing style. I don't DNF lightly but this just didn't do it at all for me.

If you are looking for a book that will leave you needing the metaphorical literary freezer for a large percentage of what you are reading, then "Dear Professor" is absolutely for you. Holy moly, I haven't read a book this hot in a very long time. The sexual energy that radiated off virtually every single page was scorching. Honestly,
★★★ 3 **Sweet Things** STARS!

Dear Professor is the most anticipated debut book for me (maybe everyone else?). I saw this a while on my facebook and the blurb was quite promising. I couldn't resist this kind taboo relationship between teacher and student, right? Hmm...

Darcy Hamilton has been cam girl for years. It paid nicely for her college and life. She never meet the 'client' but in private chat, she want this 'special client'. Darcy always keep her good score above average and aim to go to Ha

I was so excited for this because as I say over and over I love student/teacher books. It's like an obsession even though more than half end up being shite!

The description sold me and I was seeing all sorts of dirty forbidden naughtiness, while you do get that you also get a complete arsehole of a man.
Jordan was hard to love, which I know was intentional but normally the Hero redeems himself.

This was more twisted that I expected and that aspect actually worked really well he

I am a fan of a student/ teacher read and that forbidden romance story so when I saw the opportunity to receive an ARC i jumped at the chance.

This is the debut novel by Blaire Drake and what a great debut is it.

If I were to have read this book when I was in high school a couple years ago, I would have turned my nose up at this book. Because what kind of person basically whores him/herself out for money? ONE WHO IS TRYING TO PUT THEMSELVES THROUGH SCHOOL, THAT'S FUCKING WHO, YOU JUDGMENTAL, SELF-RIGHTEOUS PRICK.

As a university student, I can relate to this story so fucking much it's sad. And Law School is fucking expensive - even selling your internal organs aren't enough at times. There are actually p
It was definitely interesting to base the premise of this contemporary erotic romance on the real life events surrounding Duke University student by day and porn star by night Belle Knox. Yet, instead of having her being outed and harassed by the frats at her college as well as a multitude of crazies at large, the author had her student character Darcy's history professor blackmailing her into having a sexual relationship under the threat of being outed. If she would accept, he would give her a ...more

His electric blue eyes focused on me, and in the bright hue of his gaze, the rest of his office seemed to melt away. I had no idea how he kept doing that to me—it was almost as if he were casting a spell over me, hypnotizing me with nothing more than a glance.

My heart thumped loudly in my chest at the lust I saw burning back at me. That hard-edged, animalistic lust that secretly drove me wild. I’d never tell him that. I was certain of it. I’d never give him that much power over me.

Darcy Hamilton is a very driven young woman. She knows exactly what she wants and has a plan in place to get her there. She has her eyes on the prize – a law degree from Harvard – and she will do whatever it takes to get it. Dalton House is a very lucrative means to an end for her. A resident of the dorm-style house, Darcy earns top dollar as a Cam Girl. She performs sex ac

That blurb!! Gah, the blurbs are the ones that always get to me – I’m a sucker for a forbidden romance, especially student/teacher ones, so this book was right up my alley. As a debut novel, Dear Professor was a good one – I was intrigued by the blurb, of course, and the premise of the story is one that’s unique and kept me reading (the heroine in a cam girl!). I had some problems with this book though, so while I can’t say that I loved Dear Profe

Whoa! This tale of forbidden lust sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down. It was hot, sexy, and hateful!

“My professor has been watching me fuck myself of camera. Oh. Sweet. Fucking. God.”

And just like that, Darcy’s life has changed. Her hard-ass professor, Jordan Keaton, found her on Cam Girls and is now blackmailing her for her letter of recommendation.

“I was screwed. That was it—I had to fuck my teacher.”

Darcy enters into this “relationship” because she has no other choice. But she didn’t ex

In a bookish world full of taboo love stories of differing varieties, the student-teacher relationship will always be one of my very favorites. (As long as, of course, all parties are consenting.) So many of the supposedly taboo romances make me roll my eyes because I fail to see the forbidden part, but there's no doubt student-teacher relationships are frowned upon. And also incredibly hot.

Well... this book got my attention from the beginning...
I wish I could say I didn't love Professor, he was such a prick, a real a**&ole, fine, I love him anyway!

The only thing I didn't like about Darcy was her name! Eeew... think she deserved a stronger one!

the sexual tension and expectation were awesome!

Maybe it was me and not the book.
Maybe it was the fact that my book hangover wasn't cured before I started "Dear Professor" by Blaire Drake.
I'm not sure. What I can say with certainty is that I'm underwhelmed by this book.
I've tried my hardest to connect with both - the characters and the story, since I really liked the premise.
Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Not in the least.

The story idea itself was interesting. A young college student, Darcy, finances her education b

"Words were the most powerful things in the world. It didn't matter if they were spoken or written, whispered or screamed...They could maim, devour, and destroy as easily as they could lift, heal and soothe. Even if the only place the words exists is in your head."
