Great resource if you need ideas or inspiration for possible tiles. I like how designs are broken down into easy steps. The samples of finished zentangles is helpful when seeking inspiration.

First the book sings the praises of doing zentangle for the experience itself, regardless of the finished product. Then the rest of the book is spent suggesting ways to make more appealing finished pieces.

Also maddening - the book tells us that shading is vital to several of the included zentangle patterns, but gives no instruction on how to do shading.

It's a nice collection of ideas if you're already somewhat familiar with zentangle, or with basic drawing.

I have been tangling for several years now, but this book definitely brought some basics back to my drawings as well as different patterns to use and try within my art. I enjoyed this book and it definitely inspired me to do more art, daily!!!

There are a lot of Zentangle books out there, it is hard to find the one that gives the information clear and concise . Loved the glossary where all the tangles are represented in art form as well as how to draw. It makes an easy to find reference.
