I mistakenly checked this out of the library thinking it was Twinkle Knits/Wenlan Chia-related, so, lots of disappointment there as these two ladies are on opposite ends of the craft world... The projects in here are creative (and certainly colorful) but skews a little too close to kitschy. I thought the cherry pie seat cushion was clever but there is nothing in here that I would make. I can't comment on the accuracy of the pattern writing but there are lots of photos and some diagrams to help w ...more

Twinkie Chan does it again! Not only are the patterns easy to follow but I love her color choices for each project. I haven’t made them all but I have made several and I love each and every one. While I found these patterns easier than the ones in her previous book, I wouldn’t consider these beginner patterns. You will need some crochet experience under your belt for many of these projects.

Have not made anything, so can't really comment on the instructions, but DANG do these look cute. And they're all somewhat functional. Rather than just being cute weird things to collect dust, these are cushions or covers or pouches. I love functional crochet. :D

Looking through the instructions, however, it doesn't always explain what things are, even in the back where it explains corcheting (what the heck does 'bobble' mean anyway?). Be prepared to google stuff.
