Rereading Martine's books is always pleasant - especially this one, which is among the oldest ones - one of the first I got to read when I was really young... Looking at the pictures, one can see it is one of the first, also because the drawings changed though the years and now both the style of clothes and the precision of the drawings is different.

This is absolutely my favorite book of my pre-school ages... I used to dream that I'd be like Martine (Ayşegül, in Turkey) when I grow up and do all the things she does in the books... I dreamed lots of dreams, 20 years passed and none came true. But I still love the series so much!!
