Arc received in exchange for an honest review.

Grand Final is the last book in the playing the game series from Lorraine Loveit . It was the perfect ending to the Suzie Price and Brendan MacGiver love story. But at the end I was left still wanting more... I'm going out there to say I'm dissapointed it is finished, and that is a big call, from looking back at the 1st book I've become a fan of the love triangle between Suzie, Brendan and Jason.

So Grand Final starts pretty much where Time On finis

That old term "saved the best for last" definitely applies to this book.

What happens when a dom/sub relationship suddenly goes more vanilla? Brendon is determined to see. He has already lost Suzie twice because of his anger and jealousy and he has vowed not to do so again. I was worried when I started the book. I didn't think Brendon's new lease on life was going to take. He had already tried and failed to change his ways. But he did it. The way he handled everything in this book was impressive

This has been a long, twisting, and turning read with all of these characters. I'm happy that Suzie finally got what she wanted and that Brendan was able to be what she needed him to be. I'm sure whatever magic anger management or therapy he had will have many readers wishing they knew his secret recipe for their own loved ones, friends, or hopefully not themselves. He was a changed man. And, it was great to see Suzie with the relationship that she should have had from the beginning. There are s ...more

How is it going to end?? This was an amazing final book in this series!!! Full of suspense that will truly leave you on the edge of your seat. I loved watching Brendon be the man that we, well I know at least me, have always known he could be. Hoping Jason will find love one day, maybe in the next series....I have to say I really loved watching Jason in this book as well, I think we have truly watched all these characters grow as people and you really can see it in this book. Suzie, who has alwa ...more

I sort of had a love/hate relationship with this series. I enjoyed it but the character of Suzie annoyed the hell out of me sometimes. She did everything she could to put her in whatever compromising positions she found herself in. It just irked me for some reason.

Better than the rest

This is the 6th book in the series. I enjoyed this more than the others. I finally started to like the characters even though I found some of their characteristics to be completely unrealistic. The two main characters proved to be redeemable. I do wish this author would leave out all the rehashing of previous books and hire an editor. I easily found over 50 mistakes of using the wrong word or part of speech. And while I am satisfied with the end of the series, I feel a bit ch
