As one of the few humans stranded on the ice planet, I should be happy that I have a new home. Human women are treasured here, and one alien in particular has made it clear that he wants me. It's hard to push away the sexy, flirtatious Aehako, when all I want to do is grab him by his horns and insist he take me to his furs.

But I've got a terrible secret - the aliens who a

This is actually my least favorite so far, although I still enjoyed it.

Kira was such a killjoy.

Like Eeyore.

In fact, Liz even called her an Eeyore, if I remember correctly.

She for sure did in book 4.

Here's Liz being the annoying as fuck Tigger to Kira's Eeyore:

Oh Aehako. You sexy blue horned alien, you.

This is book three in the Ice Barbarians series. The best one yet! Here's the rundown on the series premise: Human females get abducted by aliens who intend to sell them to other aliens, their ship crashes on a planet that's basically winter all year round and inhabited by tall, muscular, blue horned and well-endowed aliens who are looking to get laid (and find a mate).

There aren't many females on the planet, so the blue guys are thrilled with the arri

Barbarian Lover tells the story of Kira and Aehako. He is the funny one in the group, while she is the anxious and depressed one. Thanks to the translation device in her ear, Kira finds out that the aliens who abducted her and the other girls from Earth are coming back for them. She is sure that the stupid device is also a tracker, so she needs to get it out fast.
Aehako wants the human and has made it clear (if you read the previous book

Living in fear of what might happen prevents us from enjoying what we have today.

Aehako is sexy, sweet, nice, very good with his hands, open-minded and definitely interested in Kira. This was obvious in Barbarian Alien. Now it is the time to stake his claim. It doesn’t matter that his khui does not sing for her. Aehako is determined to make Kira his mate.

“I do not need a khui to tell me who is the mate for me. You are mine and I will take every moment as a gift.”

Kira is miserable. She is 22 yea

This has got to be some infectuous disease! Yes, I read #3 now too - and had some huge problems with it!

This volume is about Kira and Aehako. Aehako is sweet and all, but his easy-going philosophy wasn't for me either (in the beginning). He seemed to just want to have a good time "between the furs" and didn't care about tomorrow. Me no likey. Thus, I could understand guarded and scared Kira because there is nothing worse than wanting a relationship with someone who just wants sex.
Then again, we

I luuuuuuuuuurve this series.

It is fast becoming one of my favorites when I want something hot, sexy and fun.

This one was a surprise, though. It had a different tone to the other two installments and while it was enjoyable, there was cloud of melancholy over the entire story.

I have to say, when I heard this would be Kira's story, I wasn't overly excited. She always came across as standoffish and incredibly bitchy in the other books, and while she retains some of that, as this story unfolds and

Can you believe there are 3 books in this series already? So much alien loving to read. And it's actually worth reading - it's not overly romantic, enough smut and comedy to entertain. It's endorsed by Alien Smut loving Australian women.

This edition is about Kira & Aehako. Kira is the Earthling with the crazy shell ear implant thing that translates all languages for her. She still has it in her ear and she has yet to resonate for anyone. She also has a secret. Aehako is one of the blue alie

Yes, I just added a new shelf for my alien-smut books!! So?? I may or may not be addicted to this hilarious series. Okay, I totally am! This author writes the funniest alien porn that I've ever read (it doesn't matter that this is the only alien porn I've read. Not the point.).

Holy crap - here's a warning - do NOT google alien porn in the "images" section!!! Do NOT do it!! My eyes have been soiled! I was looking for a joke, man! The horror. The horror.

Okay, shake it off!

Kira and Aehako's story.
Nice progression of the continuing adventures of life on the ice planet. This one sees the return of the girl's original captors.
Enjoyable reading, plowed straight through it. Seemed to be missing some of the specialness that was captured in the first two books.
Hence the slight drop in star rating.
I think maybe that I just didn't find Kira and Aehako's romance as interesting but it was still a fun and entertaining read.

My third volume in Ruby Dixon's erotic sci fi series of Ice Planet Barbarians and my favorite so far. This book should not be read stand-alone in my opinion.

Dixon's wonderful, quirky humor is back in full force here especially in the strong pov of our kick ass hero, the sexy blue alien barbarian Aehako. As he gazes at shy introvert Earth girl Kira, he wonders why she doesn't allow him to give him the pleasure he so eagerly wants to share with her, since he knows he is very good "in the furs."

I think I've reached my binge alien reading limit. After reading three books back to back I'm going to take a break. I still like the series, I am just a little disappointed my rating has gone down slightly with each book. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good series, but this one wasn't my favorite.

This is Aehako and Kiera's story.

I don't really have that many strong feelings towards Kiera. She's the one that got the shit end of the stick. She got that translator in her ear

I went into this book a bit wary because of some reviews ( that why each of us allowed their own opinion!!!) and let me just say that the H was a wonderful sweetheart. I know he was not a virgin, and something he mentions this sexual experience ( mostly in thought) but it's in way so boyish and naïve... This naïveté is brought to light because he tries to reason with himself that it's one of the reason that the h should accept his courtship. It was written in a way that I found him adorable, we ...more

This is the third book in Ice Planet Barbarians series and it keeps getting better! While reading this one, I didn’t laugh as much as I did when I read the first two books, yet the more drama and emotion that was added into the story is very impressive.

It took me awhile to warm up to the heroine, Kira. It might be because I was still too angry with her since the previous book, that she didn’t understand Liz’s feelings. But as the story went on, she became more likable and she could prove herself

I'm digging this series, as silly as it is it does wonder to my mood. This one has a little more action than the previous ones and I don't mean sexy action. The little green men are back and Kira is the one to hit back, with help from smitten Aehako. Give me one of those blue aliens and I'd be one lucky lady.

As much as I enjoyed #2 and Liz, I was already having the feeling that Dixon might go into some serious issues and I wasn't disappointed when she got with Kira's story. It is almost like a cat stalks it's prey unaware -

But Kira's solemn mood was equally balanced with her cheerful mate Aehako. He is easily likable and compensated Kira's enthusiasm (which is nonexistent) but clearly reflected some deep and serious issues.

This is my image of Aehako

Ultimately, things worked out and I got another h

I really enjoyed this one. The hero was so adorable and funny. I did wish he was a little more possessive in the beginning but he came around. I didn't like the ex being in our faces at all. To me her being like that after having "resonated" for someone else makes it possible for anyone who "resonated" to cheat. Kinda ruins that element for me. I feel so bad for her mate.. I want to hug him and just wow it's sad. Looking forward to more. Love this world and all these yummy blue alpha aliens :)

This series makes me very happy. Can't wait for the next one to come out and I am so glad the author elected not to do serials anymore!

The heroine wasn't my favorite but I loved the hero and how he loved her even without the fated mate connection.

The world evolves here and we have nice drama. The hero is a sunny and charming and the heroine grows and becomes kickass.

Good stuff and sexy stuff.

Waiting for Harlow next.

I won’t say much about this one, I’ll let the book talk by itself…’cause as any of the previous books we have a couple interested in each other, and going through some difficulties to get together at last.
But what really is NEW for me is that they do not resonate for each other, it means that…they’re not meant to be

Usually it's the guy saving the damsel in distress, but this book had Kira saving everyone else from the aliens who abducted the girls to begin with and it was awesome. She was shy and reserved, but she kicked some alien butt. And her sex scenes with Aehako were good. He even used his special courting gift on her *wink*. Looking forward to the next installment.

I liked the H but I believe he was dropped on his head as a baby..

UGH, Goodreads lost my review a-freaking-gain. I don't even know what to do anymore because so many of my reviews disappear.

I Loved this book but unfortunately my review is lost. I do remember that I really enjoyed this book and that I rated it a 4 1/2 stars. Somehow I thought I had read this a long time ago but I never had, and I'm so glad I realized my mistake and read it.

I know what you are going to say. Four stars for that goofy thing? But I'm grading it against other short sci fi romances. And let me tell you, it is way better than most offerings out there. The world building remained consistent with the previous two volumes. This one had quite a bit of action and a lot of relationship building. A fun little series with alien men and human women and an interesting symbiont. I'll definitely be reading the next one.

I love Kira! And Aehako! He's the sweetest blue alien ever! I adore him. The way he cared about Kira without that stupid resonance thing that is this universe version of insta-love. It was just so sweet and thoughtful. And Kira's reasons for trying to stay away from him made my hearth bleed. Thankfully there was a happy ending ^_^
