Safe Landings is a very strange title for a book as risky and erotic as this one.

This book is pure erotica. We start out with a woman who's having an extramarital affair yet still seems to have a relatively happy marriage. Each page is filled with naughty comments, and eventually R-rated sexy material. But this book isn't just all love scenes and sexy comments, there's an epic plane crash that takes this book on a wild narrative.

It was honestly so refreshing to read a book that focuses on erot

They were strangers connected by the horrific plane crash they both survived. Both traumatized, both trapped in the nightmare they lived through, they met at an airline sponsored therapy group. Together they would help each other begin to heal and their bond would grow beyond the kinship they felt at their shared experience. But would that bond be emotionally healthy in the long run or will it fill the desperate needs of two women in crisis?

Jessica is single, living with a man who would do anyth

For a book called Safe Landings, Kay Brandt has written a powerful story that is full of risky liaisons, damaged relationships, and the ever-present threat of emotional crashes to follow the physical one. It is intensely erotic, with scenes of heterosexual, bisexual, and lesbian lust, but what makes it memorable is the strength of the characters and the depth of our emotional engagement in their lives.

The story opens with Elaine preparing for an illicit afternoon with her lover, while ignoring a

So I bought this book expecting some amazingly hot sex scenes. I got that, but I got so much more.

From the start Elaine, Tessa and Michael turn up the heat in the book. I knew it was going to be one of the hottest books I have read. What I was not expecting to feel is so connected to the characters, not to mention their pain, fear and just feelings of being lost.

After their shared trauma, Elaine and Jessica become the start of each others recovery and use each other for their own needs with lit

Ummm... Not really sure what to make of this book. I received a copy free from the author and thought, why not.

Well, with hindsight and an opportunity to look at the cover I should have known that there would be an awful lot of sex. An awful lot. Now I'm not a prude by any means but I could have done with less sex (certainly of the throbbing member variety!) and more of the interesting middle piece where the emotions being expressed about surviver guilt were actually handled rather deftly and wi

Ok. When I first read what it was about in short, it seemed a nice plot. People do get together in difficult circumstances.
But when I started reading, I noticed the plot was not what the story was about, in my opinion.
It is totally not my cup of tea, this written porn. I suppose that in its genre it is very good but it does not work for me.
I am glad tough that I got the opportunity to read it for free, thanks to the author, and thus get this insight.
Next book will be no porn :-)

This was a good story and well written. I did run across a few typos, but not so many that they ruined the story. I also noticed in the earlier chapters that parts of the story seemed to be more like a script than a story, but again it wasn't enough to take away from the story.

OMG! If you love story porn, this is the perfect companion to the movie. The movie is amazing and this gives you so much more of their emotions. I even bought the paperback from Amazon!
