Having accidentally ingested too much chick-lit in recent weeks, it was a relief to read a novel by a man - one with military experience, common sense, and a believable response to an awesome woman who changes his life in ways no ordinary man expects. What is left unsaid can be far more powerful than spelling out the graphic details--something as simple as the closing of a door, or letting a certain deed slide without reproach, or accidentally using one word that conveys more meaning than ...more

Very well done

Good plot, well rounded characters, nice tie up at the end (which can be the end or a springboard for a series). The only reason I did not give it five stars is while you are drawn into the story, you are not emotionally drawn in, just intellectually.

Fun read

What a nice easy read. Space opera at its best. Great characters,nice plot,great speed...I want more of these characters and their adventures.
