The Cat Will Play by M. Duda was quite an interesting read. I did not quite understand everything I was reading. I felt it was esoteric and I wasn't one of the ones current on the topic. The writing is fluid and draws quite visual imagery, and yet, as it is a dark stories book, they were pretty dark.

When you are in the mood for deep and dark short stories, this is the book to pick up. It is exactly what you need when you are in that frame of mind.

Disclaimer: This book was sent to me by the author, M. Duda, for an honest review.

Okay my readers, I know you have heard this one a MILLION times but I must repeat it again: Don’t judge a book by its cover. This is NOT a children’s book, it is actually quite far from it. When M. Three great stories with eerie but well formed characters. Masterful suspense... you never know what will happen next. There is a dark and gloomy overcast to these brilliant stories, but it is worth the read. However, it will take a literary mind to penetrate these stories. Quite a creative offering.

I'm not completely sure about what to make of this book. While I did find the stories to be quite entertaining to read, I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be linked in with each other or not.

I did like the first story. While I was a bit confused by exactly what the world was supposed to be like, I did think it was quite an interesting idea, if really quite disturbing in parts. I woul

I won this book in a goodreads giveaway, to be honest the book left me totally confused. The third story was the best out of the three and the two stars was for the cover. The style of writing may appeal to a lot of people but just wasn't for me.

M. is an ill-tempered writer who’s learning the craft the hard way: Hammering away at the keyboard and occasionally admitting when he's wrong.

He writes because his cat hates him.
