This is a very interesting story! Characters include a penguin and a panda. I'm really enjoying the story; a pleasant change from the last series I read.

In this volume, we have character growth, characters figuring out their powers, and more villainous plots. There are interesting uses of powers, though I have to wonder why there aren't more people using powers for good (or at least weird personal gain) rather than evil.

It's a little more serious that volume one, but it still keeps its goofy sense of humor at times. If you liked the first omnibus, keep reading this one.

There is a lot in these volumes! They are actually omnibus editions containing 2 volumes of the original Japanese editions and there are colour pages at the beginning and in the middle at the start of the second volume. We meet the Professor who is the leader of the bad guys and they terrorise Tokyo by sending a huge floating freighter over the city and dumping it. This leaves all our heroes busy rescuing people but they also have to face the fact that they can't save everyone and that realisation affects each of them in their own way. New powers are revealed and a fun episode with a superpowered hippo floating through the city encased in a blob of water. The second volume brings some new characters and mostly includes training with their new master, a panda who looks like Yoda when he takes his head off! There are political stirrings, family dynamics and a little romance blossoming. But the book ends on a heavy note with the bad guys recruiting. Love this series!!!

This second volume wasn't as great as the first, but I'm leaving that to 2nd book syndrome and will keep reading. I did like the plot line overall, but found the character's responses to what was happening to be a bit tedious and, at times, to not flow well with who their characters have been. I didn't find the characters to be as believable and realistic as in the first volume. But the action was still on point, and the illustrations were very interesting still. Will hope for better in the next volume

Argh...This was just bad and way worse than the first one. This went downhill really quickly and even the likable characters could't save it. The plot was just all over the place and I really didn't like the story...A pass for me.

I don´t know why this manga reminds of heroes and marvel agents of shield... anyhow, it was good.
