Gosh, I absolutely loved Courage That Counts, and expected this to be just as heart wrenching! While it may not have wiped out my supply of kleenex, it was a very good read.

5 stars for Rebuilding Trust by Elison Grace!!

This is the second book in the Loveland Fire Series, and it is the story of Cory and Carrie aka "Hero and Sun".

I was fortunate enough to be able to beta read this book, and I must confess that I anxiously awaited each new installment. It was like when an episode of your favorite tv show leaves you hanging, and you really don't want to wait to find out how things play out. So to say that I was excited to finally get my hands on the finished product

With Better Editing This Could Be Four Star-worthy

This is the second book in a series focusing on firemen in Colorado. The editing is much improved over the first book, and combined with the continuation of strong and mostly-likeable characters, this is a very satisfying read.

This was the perfect title for this book. Carrie has been devastated by the betrayal of her ex-boyfriend and moves away from all she knows to start again. She meets Cory and the sparks fly but they both are dealing with problems that threaten their happiness and need to learn to trust in themselves as well as each other. Beginning a relationship based on sex seems to be the perfect solution but eventually feelings grow deeper and each one wants more but are they willing to take the risk? Can ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as a continuation in this series. The secret forbidden love of Cory and Carrie comes to light and not everyone is happy about it. It starts as being Friends with Benefits that leads to so much more. Carrie has trust issues because of her ex fiancé and Cory needs to prove himself because of his playboy ways. They struggle with each of their own pasts that make things work against them as Dylan and Lana work on their own happily ever after. I look forward to the next ...more

This was a great addition to the Loveland fire series. I loved how Carrie decided to rise above everyone trying to bring her down and discovered who she was. Can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.
