Let me begin by playing a round of Two Truths and a Lie… We all know how this works, right? The speaker shares two truths about themselves, and a lie, but the lie must not be easily distinguished from the two truths, and the other players are supposed to guess which statement is a lie. One of the most original and honest voices I have read in a long time. This book will make you laugh, cry and laugh again all the while saying "SAME." This is poetry for those who need someone to recognize we all have shitty days and that still we do the best we can with our tender, beating heart.
