Coma Hell (Book 1) Horror Thriller: Coma Hell (Book 1) Horror Thriller

Rate this book
Jack Roberts awakens from what he was told would be nothing more than a routine sinus surgery. There is never anything routine with any surgery. Jack never gave that a thought and he should have. Jack might have changed his life and been a better man.

The panic beeping sound of alarms echoed with a flurry of activity around Jack’s hospital bed. The scream of a nurse calling for a doctor. The voice of a doctor yelling we are losing him and for everyone to stand back.

The bright flashing red hot light seared through Jack’s body as the world around him spun out of control. The voice of the doctor now tense with anger as his words echoed through Jack’s head. The only word that Jack could make out was coma.

Jack was now lost in the darkened world that would become his very own private hell.

Jack's a bad boy. With wealth he takes what he wants with no regard for anyone else. But his life becomes a nightmare when he has haunted by his past deeds, and he enters hell. Is it real or just nightmares?
Excellent book.

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Upon reading this, Kevin Wimer will be an author I look forward to reading from. He creates a a very vivid, horrifying realm that seems all too real to Jack (the main character).
This book was difficult to initially get into. This was due to the vast amount of spelling or grammar issues present throughout. Once you get past those though, this is a great read!
This is not your average horror book. Jack is a wealthy college student, used to getting anything and anyone he wants. He uses his money to keep out of trouble, as a typical rich person often does. Jack uses women to satisfy his own primal needs, but keeps a more stable girlfriend (Heather). Haunted by a woman of his past, unable to discern what is real, he experiences horrifying events repeatedly...living in his own hell.
The events that Jack experiences are truly chilling. The author uses great visionary techniques, allowing me to not only read about what was happening to Jack, but to feel and see exactly what he was experiencing. This made the book that much better. The scenes are graphic and very detailed, becoming terrifyingly vivid in the mind of the reader. This is not a book for the weak stomached. For those such as me who enjoy horror books, especially detailed gory ones, this is a fantastic read!
The way the book was written, even I as a reader was not sure what was real. Although, near the end I had an inkling of what was occurring. Coma Hell is a wonderfully chilling tale that I found hard to put down. If you are looking for a truly great book that will leave horrified and haunted, this is a prime candidate for your to-read list. The extremely detailed horror scenes remain in my mind even after finishing the book.
