This is the first book I have read by the author and I can easily see myself reading her other works too.

The book is a unique retelling of the classical fairy tale, Cinderella with a couple of twists and surprises. I loved the concept and the way the author has treated the tale while the characters didn't make me go gaga over them.

Let me start with the characters. Firstly there is Allie, the female protagonist. I hated and loved her during the

I got sucked in by the cover of this book. Gorgeous shoes. Dude in a suit and the hot pink text just pops off the page. Unfortunately, it kinda fizzled for me once I opened the book.

I just couldn't connect with the characters. In fact, I didn't even like any of them, except maybe Angelo/Victor. I thought this was going to be a Cinderella story where Allie was going to be a tortured heroine and we would feel sorry for her and yada yada. But I couldn't stand Allie... and I get that the author

I received an ARC of this amazing short read from the author CHERRIE MACK, in exchange for honest opinion. This is Mismousey's very honest opinion of her book "INCONCEIVABLE".

Having never read any of Ms Mack's book's. I found this one very intriguing and mind blowing!! She brings such magic into her story when taking pen to paper. The characters -scenes are so lifelike and well detailed. You picture everything right before your eyes.

Inconceivable is about a young women by the name of Allison

This was a very fun and very sweet take on the original Cinderella story.

Allie always looked at the world as a glass half empty type of girl. She made it impossible to let herself be happy. So when the man she cared for as a father died an left her a little black box she was disappointed. Unbeknownst to her it would lead to her true love and happiness.

I have never read a book in which I can picture a tattooed biker as a fairy

I give this book 5 fangs

I was pleasantly surprised with this tale of magic and love.
Allie is only 22 but she has lost a lot in her life and now after the man that treated her like a daughter has passed away she hopes something good will come when his will is read. Instead Through a series of complications she is only left with a black box. The little box while only contains a single slip of paper no money no nothing it contains magic and it changes her life forever.

This was a really fun take on a Cinderella story. We have a male fairy godmother, who is awesome (Victor was my favorite thing about the story) and instead of focusing on the 'Cinderella' character, we get Allie, the stepsister's story. She is out to steal 'Prince Charming' aka Zach, from her sister, but is he really the man of her dreams she believes him to be? I really enjoyed all the ways the author twisted the typical Cinderella plot, but did feel like it got a bit over the top at time. The ...more

This is retelling of Cinderella. I thought it would follow the original story. I found to be a unique retelling. Yes there was a fairy “godmother” and an “evil” step-sister. I really liked the changes and a new look at a story I’ve known my entire life. This was a sweet Charming story. A great quick read for just before bed. What can be better than a fairy tale at bedtime? This is series and I really

This was a very sweet romance - with some added steam - that really has that fairytale feel to it - but with a modern kick and a twist. I loved getting to know the characters and really got sucked up into their lives. I just loved all the little twists that made this a very unique retelling of a familiar fairlytale theme. I love how it took the Cinderella theme and twisted it into something modern and new - a biker fairy godmother?! Loved it!

This was a book worth reading and I'm glad I did.

Inconceivable is a fun, interesting take on Cinderella. I love the fact the fairy godmother is actually a kick-ass, tattooed biker!
I really liked Allie and Victor and enjoyed reading about their relationship, which developed at a nice pace.
The book did surprise me in a positive way and I can say it is well-written and entertaining.
If you enjoy a fun, quirky romance I think you might enjoy this book.

I have read all of Cherrie Mack's books and this one did not disappoint me at all. I loved the chemistry between the characters and LOVED how Ms. Mack twisted the storyline at each unexpected turn. All this book did was leave me wanting to read more. A very quick read and left me smiling at the end for days.

In the past year and a half Allie has lost her mother and her stepfather, and she's about to lose everything to her evil stepsister, who just so happens to be using Allie's life story to gain sympathy and pick up men. When Allie finds herself with a muscled, tattooed, pierced biker of a fairy godmother (FG), she sets her sights on exposing her sister as a fraud and getting her Happily Ever After with Prince Charming. It's up to her long-haired FG, Angelo, to help her find happiness, because her ...more

I'm not particularly a shoe person but I love the cover! Inconceivable is a modern day retelling of Cinderella, but instead of Princes and balls we're given pampered society princesses and fortune hunters.

The book was a bit of a mixed bag for me because some parts I really enjoyed whilst others left me feeling kinda flummoxed. I liked the modernisation of the popular fairy tale, but it took me a while to warm to the characters and Allie never

As I was looking for a short read, which would tide me over till I can start Rock Redemption, I found this book on my Kindle and though, it would be the perfect fit.

I expected a fairy tale story, in which our heroine, in this case Allie, is a good person who wants to find happiness but is working only on the happiness for other people. But this is simply not true with this story.
Allie is not a good person, and most of the time, she isn't even nice. she is doing things because she won't stand up
Merissa (Archaeolibrarian)
This is Cinderella with a twist. Instead of poor Cinders being all nice, we have one full of attitude and a 'woe is me' attitude. Now, don't get me wrong, Allie has had a rough time of it recently. She has lost her mother and her soon to be stepfather. Then along comes the wicked stepmother and the haughty stepsister, so she feels like she's entitled to have her very own pity party. She finally opens up the little black box which is the only thing she inherited, and goes off to find out what the ...more

Book Review originally published here:

I loved Inconceivable, a new spin on the Cinderella story. Zach Brady is handsome and charming, but he might not be the Prince Charming Allie’s been looking for – especially not since their first encounter turns out all wrong, and since Allie’s stepsister, Adrienne is more than a little interested in Zach. But thankfully Allie has a not-so-conventional Fairy Godmother to look out for her: a Fairy Godmother who is
Well this was a fun, quirky, twist on a Cinderella story!
Nothing like gaining a male fairy godmother, while trying to steal the man of your wicked step sisters dreams.

What I did like:
The characters were fun, the I enjoyed the overall concept of story line (although very odd at times). The writing for the most part, was well written.

What I didn't like:
I wish the characters gave off a more mature vibe. I also think more could have been put into the story.. everything happens so fast. Leaving me

I received an eARC of the book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book turned out to be the one that solely rest in "could have been" category! Because let's face it - fairy tale re-tellings are all the rage in YA lit but still has to find a solid base in the Adult Fiction category!

And that's a major reason why I requested this book - but sadly, it fell short of my expectations.

Allie is supposed to be Cinderella but what she turns out to be is the epitome of a whiny spoilt

Inconceivable is a nice twist on a Cinderella fairy tale story, but it is filled with much more. Allie hasn't had it easy, and at the start of the story, she's pretty much at her lowest, alone and struggling. But things start turning around when she meets her fairy godmother, who wants to gear her towards happiness. Only the things Allie things she wants or need to be happy might just be wrong. As she goes through day to day working towards a goal, Allie begins to realize that maybe she's been ...more

A twisted take on the Cinderella tale finds Allie "orphaned" by her mother and step-father, "allowed" to live with her step-sister and step-mother only if she cleans house. She inherits only a small black box that leads her to her fairy god-father...and the twists begin...

Allie is not your typical self-less more instances she opts for the more selfish choices. Granted, she has not had it easy but she was far removed from the

I have really mixed feeling about Inconceivable. The initial premise is actually pretty cool. It has a cinderella type feel to it what with Angelo the hot hairy Fairy godmother and really poor Allie.

Allie grinded on me though, I found her annoying and rather lacking. The more I learnt about her the more she came across as a bit of a martyr and at times I sympathised with her step sister more.

Angelo/Victor was also a bit off. He started out great with a funny cock sure personality and bad boy

Inconceivable is sort of a modern day Cinderella story. You had the poor girl, the rich step sister, a fairy godmother and an evil stop mom. But with a twist! Because the fairy godmother was a good looking guy with tattoos. Allie was given a little black box after her step father passed away. When she opens it, she doesn't realize how her life is about to be changed. The little black box is supposed to be passed on, so this sets up for a series of books based on what is inside the little black ...more

I found the heroine Allie less than enjoyable with her constant complaints. I get it, a nasty "step-sister" and "step-mother" who are impossible to deal are taxing, but the reader is supposed to identify with you or at least root for you, kind of hard to do when you're almost as bad. I liked the fairy godmother change up, but Angelo has to be one of the most exasperating ones. Instead of being helpful, I found him irritating. I thought that things had taken an upswing with the big changeup, but ...more

Allie is 22 and lost her mom to cancer. Allie had been living with the man that her mom loved and that loved her as a daughter. But on Gregory’s death Allie was left nothing but a little black box. Gregory’s biological daughter lets Allie continue to live in the house but she had to clean it to stay. Allie met Angelo - a big tattooed biker who claimed to be her fairy godmother. Allie meets Zach. He then goes looking for her and finds Adrienne instead.

I was this given this book on ARC from netgalley in exchange of honest review.

I was extremely excited about this book, when I read the book description and the beautiful sparkling cover page. But as I continued reading this book, I was left wanting. I expected more when it comes to plot line and the characters sketched out. The basic moral of the story was truly intriguing and shows lot of potential. But by the end of the book, I felt rushed and lagged when compared to the picture that I had

Seriously incredible!! I have to admit, this has got to be my favorite Cinderella like story EVER! And that's saying, because Cinderella is my favorite fairy tale!!

This book was totally a dream come true for Allie. I wasn't expecting the amazing twist this story lead, but I'm so glad it went the way it did!

IF you would have asked me after the first couple of chapters how it would end, my answer would be way out of the ball park.

I loooove it when an author can pull one over my head, and that,

Prince charming, we have all dreamed of him, and now we get to read about him. Is he the business man, who seems to have a crush on Allie's step-sister, or could he perhaps be the Guardian Angel sent to help Allie with making Allie happy.
Allie has a choice to make, she must choose what is most important to her.
This book is a delightful read. It will take you on an emotional roller coaster.
