"THEY THINK KING IS EVIL, BUT HE'S GOT NOTHING ON ME." -Mack

MY NAME IS MACK. And if I play my cards right, I will soon be dead. Permanently. Not even my powerful twin brother will be able to resurrect me. A good thing. Because a man like me has no business living. Not when I have killed. Not when I have betrayed everyone I have ever cared for. Not when I know I'm destined

Mack is book four in The King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author.

I’m not sure what I expected with this book. This is a dark series so I expected that. But somehow Mimi Jean still found a way to shock me. I literally gasped out loud. I think my hand even flew over my mouth! So does this make her the master of authors? Or the master of torture? I’ll let you decide.

Mack and Teddi's story was wonderful. It was dark, sexy, and mysterious, with its swoony moments and a touching story of two souls trying to find peace and with any luck, peace and happiness together. A brilliant story about enduring love. It's also a Mimi Jean Pamfiloff book so an incredible roller coaster ride is guaranteed.

So this is book four and the continuation of this enthralling series.
This time we are focused on Mack and we learn the truth behind his journey of pain and misery.
Just like King Mack is also cursed.
Cursed with a compulsion to kill the one he loves most and then suffer the horrendous guilt and regret that follows.
In book three we discovered just where Mack slots into the puzzle in regards to King and just how much he cares for him and also the whys behind this affection.
Here through a series of

Omgosh! So so good! Great book spinoff from King Trilogy! And I loved it! Stunned at the end, but looking forward to more in this series! I have read every book from this author and they just keep getting better! Highly recommend!

“Like I said, your modern definition of love pales in comparison to mine. Love, real love, when you cherish the soul of another above your own, whether it’s family, friend, or lover, that bond is difficult to sever.” – Mack by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

*advance reader copy received in exchange for honest review*

The next book in Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s King series, fans have been clamoring for Mack since we were introduced to his character. Mack’s story is intertwined with his brother King’s own dark and

What would you think if a sexy and enigmatic man claimed that you’ve been lovers for thousands of years?

I’m not usually a fan of the paranormal genre, but there are certain authors that just do it so well, I can’t resist. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is one of those writers. She can take evil spirits, monsters wearing human clothes and curses that survive death, and weave them into something so fantastic that I find myself believing that everything I

I’m not sure how I managed to have warm fuzzies while reading about a pair of ancient egomaniacs. However, through the magic of Mimi, there were several warm fuzzy moments, hot steamy moments, “ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME!” moments and then at least one “wait…what?”

If you’ve never read books by Mimi or haven’t read the first 3 King novels, you can jump right in with Mack. It’s a great stand alone but if you go back and read the King trilogy it will give you a lot of history and enrich a couple cha

Exciting, suspenseful book. Mimi Jean consistently gives the reader a book that makes you sad when you read the last word of the novel. This is the story of Mack, the brother of King from the "King Trilogy." I recommend that if the reader hasn't read the "King" series that they start with them first. The characters are complex as is the story. It was hard to put down, so hard that I didn't until the whole book was read. I highly recommend this book but be prepared to dedicate a block of time to ...more

Was given an ARC by the author for an early review and honest feedback.
I have to say, if I had held a "real" book with pages as I traveled the "Mack" world, instead of on my Kindle, there would be teardrops dotting pages here and there.
This was a speed-of-light read as the action moved at a fever pace . in addition....I just couldn't put it down. Mysteries and the back story of Mack were described in sometimes ghastly detail. But kudos for the author in spite of that...for she made me feel a b

Mack (The King Trilogy, #4) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
Mack

“Mack” – Another great read by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff! She has yet to disappoint me with any of her books, and I have read them all to date.

“Mack” is a continuation story (of sorts) from Mimi Jean’s “King Trilogy” series, but it is also a great standalone read. If you haven’t read the “King Trilogy” books yet, you will not be disappointed or scratching your head wondering what is going on and why. Mack is an extremely angry man and is ready to give up his cursed life. Teddi is the woman tha

First Off, Have you read the King Trilogy? If not Hurry! read it before Mack! Now that that's settled and you've read King you know all about King's seductive dark scary world and you know a little about Mack and who he is, but you don't know his story, you don't know what he's done and who he is, not really...

There are several characters you already know, King, Mia and members of the 10 club. but theres a new character our heroine Theodora or Teddi. who is a little bit of an oddball at first, s

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

With the surprise in the last book that Mack is actually Callias, Kings twin brother, you really want him to have a happy ever after, even knowing that he has had enough of history repeating itself.

Mack had me from the first book, and although this book is a little lighter than the other books, it still had me crying at one point and thinking WTH. Seriously, there is a twist at the end that I didn't see coming and

Let's face it, Mimi is awesome! If you loved the King trilogy, you will not be disappointed. Yet again she produced another cracker. So happy to be revisiting King and all the characters again. Her wit is top notch as usual, and unlike other authors I've read she stays true to her premise but will she give us that cliff hanger at the end... You've go to read it to find out. It had me in tears and giggling away. Mimi is such a

Awesomely exciting roller coaster ride.

I like many other readers fell for Mack from his first appearance in King. He was so charming and completely devoted to King and it was never really clear why until King for a Day when learning King's past and some of Mack's at the same time.

Learning Mack's full back story and understanding more of what makes him who he is only makes you love him. Theodora is a very intelligent, and special person. I loved reading all about her she is so fun and compassion

I was given an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. So here goes. I absolutely loved this book. Seriously Mimi has done it again with the dang cliff hangers. Stop your heart and hold your breath WTF just happened moments. Mack and Teddi have a crazy story with lots of ups and downs. I really love the way the story just keeps you pulled in with no chance to stop. I can't wait for the next installment in the King series. I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the series. A ...more

Was so looking forward to Mack's story and this one fell flat for me. Left off in a MONGO cliffhanger and I not even sure if it is worth buying the last book to close out the story.

*Sigh* I just finished Mack and I'm truly at a loss for words. My feelings are all over the map. Some of those feelings are good and others are bad...very bad.

As always Pamfiloff delivers a power packed story full of thrilling intrigue. Readers of King will be thrilled to get ahold of Mack. We finally get to read his journey and see how his soul became one of the damned.

Wow wow wow, Mimi you never cease to amaze me. Another great paranormal read with that twist that ties us back into the King Trilogy which just so happens to be my all time favourite trilogy.

Whilst this is a standalone, I highly recommend reading The King Trilogy first.

Even though this is a great stand alone book, I felt quite a bit of satisfaction having already read the King Series.
I've had questions about Mack since day one of meeting King for the first time, and finally they were answered! (Well, most of them... wait... more like some of them... *shakes fist at Mimi*)
I really loved this story and couldn't wait to phone my mum and tell her it was finally out so she could get a copy as well!
Well done, once again Mimi, I can hardly wait for the next one!

Once again Mimi Jean takes us on a twisting, thrilling ride involving King, Mia and a couple other returning characters from the King Trilogy! Mack is book #4 and is a great companion to the trilogy (which I recommend you read first) but is also fantastic as a stand alone book. Mack is dark and so compelling that I did not want to put it down.

You will feel a bond with the characters and it will leave you wanting more from Mimi Jean. Teddi is a whole other kind of woman whom you will empathize wi

This was an amazing read! I was drawn in from beginning to end and had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed where the story added some pieces to King's story but remained separate. I could visualize the entire story within the story vividly and it kept me wanting more. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff continues to amaze me with where this series continues to go and leaves me starving for more!!
