This story started off good but then it pissed me off when Drake left Nori to go back to Leila. How can you say someone is the love of your life but leave her to be with someone you don’t love just because she’s pregnant with your child. Later on you find out Nori was pregnant as well but mad because she didn’t tell you. Would that have changed anything?!? Then the way they got back together again was way to easy. I also didn’t like the Adrien, Tess and Carmen situation.

I am my brother's keeper is the motto that the Pierce brothers live by faithfully.Empowered with both book & street knowledge nothing can bring them down.When they decided that they are leaving the game for good they set plans into motion but things don't go quite as planned.Take a ride with these four brothers as the battle Love and the streets at the same time.
This first time author has definitely brought something to the table. This book draws up in from the first page and take you a ride full of drama and pain. I fell in love with these characters and the storyline. Besides a few errors this is the book to read.

This story is about four brothers, thicker than thieves and closer than the ocean. At a young age, their parents died, about a year from one one another, and their guardian was too busy doing her thing to worry about the welfare of the boys.
Adrian, the oldest, took on the responsibility of his younger brothers Dru, Drake and Drennan...mentoring them and making them all pursue an education. The one thing he didn’t want to expose them to was the street life, but some things are unavoidable.
In the process of trying to put the streets behind them, they all find themselves dealing with relationships and all that come with them.
This beautifully written love story by @jai_breenae will definitely be added to my “Best of 2019” list. Before I read 20% of this 💎💎💎💎💎 book, I downloaded part 2. I didn’t want these characters to do anything without me knowing.

I couldn’t put it down
I was reading this book until sleep took ahold of me and I woke up bright and early to finish it. This book was filled with curve balls that I didn’t expect. I’m definitely going straight to book 2.

not done reading but…
I’m not even done reading yet but I have to say this…because I’ve read enough reviews to see where this is going. I will read the rest and probably book 2 because I am in a book funk and this is holding my attention at the moment.
I was rooting for Nori at first. I didn’t care for Laila. But then I kept stopping and reading reviews and going back to the book (blame my ADD for this.)
I guess I was rooting for Nori initially because the author wrote the story in a way that made us believe that Laila was childish and needed to grow up. Initially she wrote Nori as this strong, smart, intelligent and mature woman who was chilled and everything Drake needed and wanted. The real issue was when he asked Tess to help “fix” Laila while he still perused Nori.
A lot of reviews called Nori a crybaby and whiney but as I’m reading I had to stop and think back to when I was 23. This girl was originally blindsided by Drake and fell in love with him before she even slept with him or knew about Laila. Twenty three and sheltered was what she was. The only fault with her in my opinion was that she slept with him after he told her about Laila BUT the ALLURE was already there. She is so young and inexperienced and Drake literally messed her up with his selfish choices. This is some real life stuff.
Now, I feel bad for them both and I absolutely dislike Drake. Poor Laila is doing everything to keep him. I’m reading the part where she is telling him she enrolled in school and I’m smh because he has both of these females gone in the head because of his games. A lot of y’all are going in on Nori but she is begging him to leave her alone. I found myself mad at Laila but honestly I had to ask myself why. Drake is literally bringing drama into her life too! It’s him! He’s the problem. Not the women! They are literally reacting to the drama he is putting them through.

Emotional Roller Coaster
So love wins! Loved this book! It was long and no cliff hanger--which I thought was great. The characters in this book are intricately interwoven, but the author is still able to display each character in their own light. You see them all at their worst and at their best. One of the best books I have read all year! Can't wait until your next book Ms. Jai Bree'Nae

Bomb
I have never heard of this author but this bool was the truth.... I loved Drake and Nori, hell all the brothers esp dru and madison.... This was not a let down at all... I felt bad for laila and i hated Tess, i wanted Carmen to have her man lol I was happy to get a true love story and a great length book, Keep going and font stop ill support u this one was a true winner...#lolabandz

Loved It!
This book deserves 10 stars, it really was that gooooood. All the characters had their own personalities and were lovable. Nori and Drake were my favorite characters and Tess was my least favorite. Emotions was at an all time when reading this story and I couldn't put my kindle down. Getting ready to start Volume 2. This is a must read!

Very good read! I laughed, cried and cursed while reading this book. I couldn't put it down. It started off slow but once it picked up it stayed at a good speed. Highly recommend!

I had mixed feelings toward the beginning of this book, I was leaning towards I'm not going to like this. Mannnnn was I ever wrong!!! I loved this book. Like everything about this book was amazing. It was different, exciting, loving, and heartbreaking.
My emotions were on high alert in this book. I'm legit in the gym on the elliptical and I'm at the part where the Pierce women are straight up shading Nori at the mall. My heart was hurting for Nori and I'm in the gym crying. The lady next to me was giving me the side eye honey. Lol. But at the moment, I was Nori and I was feeling how she was feeling. You know what that means this Author can write!!!
I was #TeamNori from jump. She was perfect for Drake, so I was rooting for her as soon as she stepped on the scene. My cousin wasn't feeling Nori because she was very emotional, and although I hate to admit it her crying was starting to aggravate me towards the end of the book.

I first want to say that even tho your a new author that I LOVE YOUR BOOKS I started with 3AM but I’m now reading Love Allure and I love how you put this book together I can feel the love that Adrian, Drake, Dru and Drennen have for the women in they lives now I will say that I HATE Tess I want Adrian to really be happy with the love of his life Camren and I don’t feel like that’s with Tess ignorant ass lol I love Nori but she needs to man up that crying be having me hot I hope that Drake can be happy anuff to get over the lost of his baby mama And Logan I was so hurt when they died I cried real tears...Maddie as I call her needs love and I hope she gets that and Brylee rubs me wrong when she around Tess bald headed ass lol I can’t wait to start reading part 2 keep up the good work boo your books is BOMB

Addictive
There’s so much to say about this book. So the honest disclaimer is be prepared to sit your entire life aside until you finish! This book is so highly addictive that your life is literally on pause until the end...and then there’s a part 2!!
Nori and Drake’s story will have you feeling the highs of love and then bury you in tears. There is possibly no other couple that you will root so hard for...ever! Your will heart break for Parker, but Dru and Madison are a true Hood love match lol! Hopefully, part two brings Brylee some true revelations about Stacy and that her and Drennen survive it. And have mercy Carmen and Adrian. Heaven help us with Tess, and her trifling self! Your emotions and probably your own right and wrong values will be tested. This book was a dynamic read and Jai Bree’nae is assuredly a new fave!

Good Good!
When I chose this writer's work I know its going to be one dozy of a story that's going to have you tried up in knots. First I have to say the love this family has for one another and the respect is just great and the chemistry is off the charts. But let me hit the ground running because I have to say ,I'm a little salty about the way that Drake plays Lalia for Nori was just a bit cold. Not too mention Nori is just a tad bit whiny and clingy.Also big brother Adrian ,your ex shows up and all of a sudden you team Carmen.Tess I would have to say is the glue of the family. This was some good writing and quite entertaining. There are moments when are going to cheer ,laugh out loud,just break down and cry and then there are moments when you scream "what are you doing".Overall this was just plain good and so so entertaining!

4.5 Stars – Hood Royalty Served on a Silver Platter
Whew, baby. Love Allure is not a game! Honeeeey....it’s a full-body experience. Jai Bree’nae really snapped with this one. She gave me drama, grit, brains, love, betrayal, heartbreak, and heat hot enough to fog my glasses.
The Pierce brothers? Please. They’re not your run-of-the-mill corner boys. These men are fine, dangerous, educated, strategic, and still down for blood when it comes to protecting their own. Adrian with his law degree, Drake moving money like Wall Street, Dru running numbers, and Drennen soaking it all up like the youngest mastermind in training...I was locked in.
And the women? Listen. Some of them I wanted to hug, others I wanted to drag down the block by their cheap lace fronts, but either way- they kept me turning the pages. Adrian and Camren? Whew, they had me ready to throw hands and then cry happy tears five minutes later. Drake’s pain cut deep. And Tess? Girl, don’t even get me started.
This book had me yelling, laughing, tearing up, and clutching my chest like I was in the middle of the mess myself. It’s long, yes, but not one page was wasted! Jai kept the pedal to the floor the whole ride.
Why 4.5 instead of 5? Because some characters worked my last nerve so bad I had to step away before I threw the Kindle. But honestly, that’s what made it fire. This story made me feel everything...love, rage, lust, grief, hope. That ending? Nuclear. I still ain’t recovered.
Love Allure is hood lit turned luxe- raw, intelligent, sexy, and unforgettable. Jai Bree’nae dropped off a whole hood empire with enough passion to keep me up all night. I’ll be talking about the Pierce brothers for a long time, trust.

Omgggg. So much to unpack for the D brothers and Adrian. Childhood traumas that led to adulthood traumas that carried into each relationship. While maybe not purposeful at all instances, there were trials each faced. Now, of course Drake, the manwhore with his trifling self, lost the most due to his own poor choices, I’ve hated him then, felt for him with his losses. Tess, had me thinking she was this bad b but, in actuality she was securing her spot as, she knows how she got Adrian. Nori, so gullible and jaded, got her HEA, if that’s what you want to call it. I loved the plot twists and turns and the get backs were fuegooooo. Hawaii took me back to my military childhood. We were stationed in Oahu, HI. Love def the romantic proposal. Now let’s see how book 2 turns out. LL Logan and Laila.

Each of them made the promise to complete their college degrees and become successful business men, but getting out of the life may be easy to say and more difficult to do. Their wives and ladies are down for the long haul. Plenty of action, drama. Lots of family love too. The book is tight and I gave it a 4**** rating.
I recommend this book. And I am planning to read 💘 Allure 2 next.

I loved this story by Jai as well. I read 3am which lead me to the author. I’m still not a fan of the girls in her stories claiming to be grown women but acting like children. Even letting the men talk to them as if they were children. I almost stopped reading when Drake had his fit telling Nori to go to bed, like she was a five year old. But the overall story and love that each character has with the significant and not so significant others are some what realistic. It’s worth the read.

Omg I'm loving your books. This story was everything and a work of art. I love the way you put two people together and broke them up to go thru hard ache and pain only to find their way back again to forever after. I can't wait to see what part two will be about i hope it's about Carmen and Adrian because i don't trust tess i think she did some shady stuff to get her kid the first time to keep him. It would be her karma if it comes to bite her in the ass. Great read lady.

Oh my gosh!
I still have tears in my eyes because this book had me captivated! I fell In love with those boys just like the girls did. However, I do wish the women were stronger and gave these guys hell to make them fight themselves more. Madison put up the best fight and I respect a fighter. I had a feeling Tess was shady when she said how she handled Adrian. You shouldn't have to get down like that if your on the same level as your man. Nori, what's up with the whinny voice and insecurities? Walk in confidence even when you're scarred. Loved the book!

Soooo bomb
I loved this book. I kinda feel like drake got off the hook easy with the choice that he made. When his decision didn’t work out in the end he was rewarded. I never felt like just because someone has a child you HAVE to be w/ them so that was a stretch for me. But i completely understand it for this purpose. Overall I love my some Carmen and I’m praying she gets what she’s destined for. Great read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decided for your self
I am a big support of black authors period.However this book was not fully developed. The main character Noire was very immature and that made it hard to connect with her. Also reading in third person makes it hard to connect with the characters for me. Honestly the part where the main character left was when I get into the book a little more, she was just an over all turn off. But I would say read it and decided on your own
I am a big support of black authors period.However this book was not fully developed. The main character Noire was very immature and that made it hard to connect with her. I honestly have no words. This book was so good! I love the Pierce brothers so much. They all bring something to the table. Nori, Madison, Brylee and Carmen are everything 🥲 I’m so happy that Drake and Nori got their second chance at love. They deserved it. Also…..can Carmen and Adrian make something work because oh my gosh, you can feel the love just from reading this. This was an amazing book.
