Blood & Rust is the prime example of why I love reading Cat Porter's series. I swear I'm her badass MC junkie fan! The woman positively can write, capture your heart and leave you craving for more and I have to wait until Finger's story? Ahhhhh hate being patient lol! Butler and Tania's story was breath taking, heartwarming and priceless. A real insight of good communication, trust and flaming hot chemistry. What I wouldn't give to have that kinda love. Anyhoo recommended to all hardcore MC ...more
This was exceptionally beyond what I had hoped for, and as good as Random & Rare which is my favourite of the series ... okay was.

I had no idea just how brilliantly CP would turn Butler's character around, she blew my mind. The writing is absolutely gorgeous, nothing is rushed, it's rich in description without overload, it hooked me from word one and I struggled to put the book down. Butler and Tania have fast become two of my favourite characters, I dare you to read this book and not fall

"As solid as the wind."

I have trouble finding the words to express how incredible this series is. I was so shocked when I read the first book in this series, I couldn't fathom that it was a debut novel. It was so amazing for a first book, better than some I've read from authors who have written dozens. The phrasing, the witty banter, the internal dialogue, and the emotions that come through the pages make every book an excuse to stop doing everything else and dive in. I know before reading the

I seriously think Cat topped Random & Rare for me. It’s so close, like neck and neck, I am so torn! Blood & Rust exceeded my expectations and frankly I am in awe of Ms. Porter’s talent. I have screamed from the roof tops for quite some time about how much I love this series. The attention to detail is astounding and it is done so beautifully. Ms. Porter knows how to “take you there” in her writing without bogging the story down. Another plus in this series is the older characters; I love ...more

BLOOD & RUST is one of those books that I read slowly because I didn't want it to end!! The fourth book in the Lock & Key series is a gorgeous, very adult and very sexy story of two souls who are looking for redemption and happiness. Cat Porter is hands-down one of my very favorite writers an

I honestly didn't think Cat Porter could fully redeem Butler for me, but I was so very wrong. Not only is he redeemed, but he has become my favorite of the Lock & Key series. That's saying quite a lot, considering how much I love Dig, Lock, and Boner.

When we first met Butler in Lock & Key, I thought he was disgusting; self-indulgent, self-destructive, and completely out of control. I knew a little about the why, but I never would

Porter has done it again. I've been looking forward to Butler's story and it exceeded my high expectations. Butler has a colorful past - from his brother, to his wife, Caitlyn, to Grace, the woman he always desired, to drug abuse, to his banishment.

This book is about redemption. I love how Porter didn't change the heart of Butler. He still wrestles with sobriety, he still misses Caitlyn and his

Reading Blood & Rust reminded me of driving down smooth roads with scenery that makes you want to stop and explore a bit and then suddenly finding yourself on twisty, turny, bumpy roads that give you that bottom dropped out feeling. I wouldn’t start reading this right before bed. You might just find yourself cussing Cat Porter’s name at 4 AM when you still can’t put the book down like I was.

Butler. I've been so excited for his story since book 1 of this series. I was curious how Ms. Porter was going to be able to redeem this bad boy but redeem him she did. With humility, forgiveness and family ties, Butler was able to lay his demons to rest and find his light again.

Butler and Tania have known each other for a long time but most of that has been contentious. But now that Tania has left her husband and failing marriage and Butler is on his way back home to make th

So I have this crazy addiction to Cat Porters writing. This series has become one of my favourite Biker series to date.

I've been intrigued by Butler for as long as I can remember. His presence in each book has left me wanting so much more. He's a man scorn, damaged and afraid to live a life with love. Just the way I like them :)

Tania, I can't even begin to tell you how much this girl reminds me of myself. It's like Cat wrote her with me in mind. She's arty, she's crazy and she loves

Yes, yes, everything in this book! Butler is redeemed so fully, at least in my opinion. There were so, so many lines that I highlighted, so many things that I just treasure about the way his story played out. His connection to Tania really made him re-evaluate how he was "living" and made him want to more than just exist.

And Tania....seriously, she is definitely one of my favorite female characters from a book. She is strong, but vulnerable; sturdy, yet fragile; and she is fierce whe

Not one to read the blurb as I love going into a read blind, I have to admit that this wasn’t the case and made an exception with the fourth book in the Lock & Key series. As I have read the whole series, was and still am bowled over by all the memorable characters in an MC saga overflowing with suspense and twists and turns at every corner, I consider my shortcoming excusable. And what a synopsis and a half! In my book, Ms Porter is the blur

Love this series

An MC read with a difference, the characters are mature the conversations meaningful and the plot descriptive.

I found this a little to long, I wanted Butler and Tanya's story and with the back story, talks of other characters and other things going on with Finger and Wes it sort of dragged on with too many mentions of everyday things, recipes to name one in one of tbe conversations and not the important things of the plot that keeps you turning the pages.

Butler, Butler, Butler. What can I say about you? If someone had told me in book 1 that I would love you as much as I do, I would’ve called them a liar. Oh the beauty of second chances, and true love. Butler&Tania are so beautiful and their story so unique and so true. These books have hit my soul like a ton of bricks!

I like this author. She writes well. The first two in this series were good, these last two not so much.

The characters were just ok - they didn't really interest me. The story was a tad long and while the author worked hard to keep my attention, it just didn't happen. It took me a couple of days to get through but I made myself finish. But, I think I'm done with this series - although the teaser for Fury kind of intrigued me. The H (Finger) in Fury played a huge role in Tania's story (

This was by far the angstiest book of the series, and almost not in a good way. I loved how it all started out and the connection was great. Then we get to real time and the reality of Butler being back and the situation he was in just sucked. I hated seeing him with someone else and how long it lasted was something I couldn't come to terms with. I also didn't care for how involved Finger and Tania were, it seemed to come out of nowhere and it was painful to be part of that relationship. All the ...more

I can't even explain how much I love this authors writing style. Her choice of words is so descriptive that I can actually see and feel. Butler rubbing his chest had me doing the same thing, like I could feel his pain, even before we knew the cause.

This book is long, but well worth it. I was lost in this story in the best way. I loved Tania because she was such a strong woman.

I absolutely cannot wait to read Finger's story.
Tania and Butler have known each other for years, but haven't always gotten along. Though her best friend was an old lady of an One Eyed Jack, Tania didn't agree with the lifestyle. She saw Butler as poster child for hedonism no good girl should allow in her life. Time and distance has changed them both. She's now coming out of her marriage, and he is trying to earn his way back into his club. Something is sparking, but circumstances aren't in their favor.

I loved this book, it's my favorite of t

Be ready to hear me fan-girl over Cat Porter for the duration of this review. At this point, I can seriously say that she could write a book about an ice cream cone wanting to make it on Broadway, and I wouldn’t hesitate to read it. That’s how much her writing does it for me.

You don’t need to have read the three previous books in the series to read B&R, but you would seriously miss some awesome couples and the ongoing back story won’t make that much sense… so yeah, for a complete One Eyed Ja

This is exactly the caliber of writing and storytelling I put all other books against, and rarely do the others succeed like Cat Porter. Rich and mature, exciting and compelling, each character fully drawn and distinct. If only I could start this entire series over again, for the very first time.
I always enjoy the women in this series, and Tania is no exception. She’s got responsibilities and dreams, and she’s looking for her new adventure. When she reunites with Butler, there is a new sense of

This is a very difficult book for me to rate because some parts did not hold my interest, and some parts I loved. I did like the main role characters, but Finger kinda stole the show for me. He’s a beast. Roar! The writing is intelligent, thought provoking and most everyone I know gave it five stars so I do highly recommend reading it. Chances are that you will love it.

Another fab edition to this series!

I absolutely loved Butler and was so glad to finally have his story after seeing how badly he has suffered over the course of the previous books. I was so happy he was getting his happy ever after.
Tania is amazing. I loved her for taking control of her life, ending her failing marriage and taking a chance at being happy again.

One of the things I love most about this series is that all the couple are in their 30/40’s and have lived. They hav
Well Butler, the real bad boy that you want to slap but hug at the same time, has finally been redeemed. A huge 5 star read for me but then I've been wanting Butler's story since book 1 in this series. I have to say that if you don't read the first three books you will lose so much of Butler's story. You'll either love or hate Butler in the preceding books, or maybe have equal parts love and hate. Every book in this series has been a 5 star read for me. If I could give this book 10 stars I would! What an incredibly romantic love story. I know I say it after all these books but seriously after reading Iron & Bone I didn't think it could get any better than Boner and Jill. I was wrong!! Butler and Tania's love story is the epitome of sad and beautiful, especially Butler's side of it. I don’t want it to be over!

I’m not sure there has ever been a series that I wanted to read so bad but hated to see it end so much. I feel like I’ve been living and dying right along side of these characters. Cat Porter has an amazing talent bringing characters to life, they are so well thought out, every little detail needed to make them real is there.
I have been hoping right along that Butler would find peace. For all his mistakes he deserved happiness. I was totally surprised by his love for
Naughty Mom Story Time

What I’ve loved about every story in this series is how detailed their back stories are. Nothing about their tale is rushed. Within this book the connection between Tania and Butler spans decades and they didn’t always get along.

During that time, they went about their own lives. They loved and lost and still struggle to find their core self. Now that they’re much older and have returned to the town where their lives held the most meaning...they reconnect. They’re in a better place in their
